"Remember the tactics surround it and then kill on my on Bellamy's count.", Clarke whispered to me. Octavia, Shane, Jasper, Bellamy, Clarke, and I circumscribed a hog feeding on grass. We were all crouched down low in the thick jungle leaves. My knife was ready in my hands and my eyes were on Bellamy. I guess Octavia couldn't wait anymore, so she tried to jump onto the hog, but it was too swift for her. Everybody moaned in disappointment, but I reacted quickly. I sprinted after it. He was a fast one, but I was flying. He got to the edge of a hill and tumbled down. I went after him without thinking. I caught him in mid-rolling and held onto him as if it were Leyla. As we hit the bottom, I got on top to hold him down. I put the knife to his throat. Then I closed my eyes and hesitated for a few second, but finally I slit his throat. I felt his blood splatter on my face. I turned my face away and then opened my eye. I got up with out looking at him. Usually I would set up traps so I could avoid these things, but it would take days just to catch something small. My body was shaking a little from all the running. I heard everyone else sliding down the hill. Bellamy ran up to me.

"Are you okay?", he managed to say while he was panting. I nodded and rested my hands on my knees, focusing on my shoes. Clarke watched us as she caught her breath.

"Hey help me with this.", Jasper patted Shane. Octavia brought a long stick and some rope to tie the little sucker up. Jasper and Shane carried the hog back to camp and Octavia, Bellamy, Clarke, and I kept guard them two.

Everyone cheered when we came through the entrance. It was wild. People were jumping for joy and howling like dogs. I was the only person who wasn't acting like a lunatic, but I was quiet happy we had some food besides berries and nuts.

"Here, you've got some blood on face.", Raven chuckled and handed me a cloth.

"Thanks. How is she?"

"She's good. Her and Monty had a lot to talk about. They're both creative people."

"Yeah, Leyla is pretty imaginative."

The night time sky was filled with stars and the air had a lingering smell of pork chop everyone had earlier. My hunger was satisfied, but my ankle was hurting. I limped from my tent to the infirmary. No one was inside so I took the first aid kit and went to a corner. I sat down and took my boot and sock off. One side of my ankle had swollen up.

"Ow..", I gasped in pain. I grimaced at the purple lump. I pressed gently to see if anything was broken.

"Let me", a deep voice said as he kneeled down. I looked up to see Bellamy. He gingerly put my foot on his knee and slightly turned it. I moaned in pain. He turn it the other way and said, "You're lucky that it's not broken. Did it hurt when you were running?"

"No, I think it was when I fell down the hill. I landed on a rock."

I just watches him work swiftly. When he finished wrapping my ankle, he asked, "Why did you do it?"

I gave him a confusing look.

"Why did you run after it?"

"I... don't really know... I guess it was because we were running low on berries and nuts. People were getting hungry."

He just looked at me the same way he did at the camp fire last night.

"Thank you."

"It's not a big deal. Don't worry about it.", I waved. He got up from kneeling and sat down next to me.

"It was dangerous."

"It was just a pig and a hill."

"I know, but even if you rolled a little farther, you would've rolled of a cliff."
