"Sloan! Sloan wake up!", Raven yelled in a hurry.
"What?! What's going on?!", I jumped to my feet. She quickly handed me my gun and said, "You need to see this."
I got outside and everyone was gathered around a large campfire, cheering. I pushed my way through the crowd to find Bellamy and Murphy fighting. Clarke and and Finn were tied up and kneeling off to the side. Then I saw two guards tying Leyla's hands and feet together. I swung my gun strap over my shoulder and charged at them with my knife. One of the guards fought me as the other continued to tie her. The guard was easy to get through; I simply kicked his baby maker. The second guard swung at me, but missed and I elbowed the back of his neck. I knelt down to Leyla and started cutting through the ropes.
"You need to run okay? Take my knife, run, and hide. Do not come out until I come get you, understand?", I said in a hurry. I kissed her on the forehead and she nodded with fear in her eyes. I stood up and watched her push through the crowd.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing?!", Murphy yelled from the other side of the fire. I tried to grab my gun, but another guard got to it first. She kicked me hard on my back. I toppled to the ground and spat out blood.
"Find her! Now!" , Murphy commanded a guard on his left.
"No.. Take me instead.", I stood up and wiped my mouth. Everyone stopped.
"Now why would I do that? That BITCH gave me drugs when everyone was still asleep. She almost killed me!"
"She was only trying to help. She saw me give you the stuff, but she may have accidentally confused the poisoned herbs with the good ones. I influenced her so if you're going to torture anyone, it should be me."
Murphy thought about it and then agreed . Immediately, a guard yanked my arm towards a metal stick that was stuck into the ground. I tried to fight her, but she slapped me. I spat blood on her face and she pushed me to the ground.
"Girls, now is not the time to cat fight. Sam! Let go of her.", Murphy demanded. Sam followed his orders, dragged me to the stick and tied me up. I was sitting on my knees, with my hands tied in front of me. My face was throbbing and my lip was still bleeding, but it was nothing. As I struggled to rip through the ropes, Murphy snickered, "The more you fight the quicker they die."
I followed his gaze towards Clarke, Finn, Raven, and Bellamy. They were all beat up with bloody faces and the guards had guns pointed at their heads. Bellamy tried to fight when he saw me tied up.
"I'm in charge now!", Murphy announced, "And if anyone has a problem with that, you are welcome to join her."
"Sine I'm the leader now," he continued and turned towards me, "I'll give you a choice. Either you, me in the infirmary, or you, me and the whip.", he smirked and whipped the ground near me, attempting to intimidate me. It didn't work.
"I would rather die than sleep with a filthy bastard.", I spat. My remark made him whip me twice. He came up, grabbed my hair, and yelled, "Say that about me one more time!"
"You're. A. Filthy. Bastard."' I croaked.
He let go of my hair and ripped my shirt off. He stopped for a moment.
"This shouldn't be too hard for you.", he said examining the scars along my back. Then he started again. I held back the urge to scream and took a deep breath. A tear rolled down my face.
"Murphy, stop!", Bellamy yelled.
"Shoot him.", Murphy said to Shane. He hesitated in front of Bellamy for a couple seconds, but right before he pulled the trigger, Bellamy nodded slightly as if Shane had said something to him.
"Do it!", Murphy was impatient and he whipped me again.
Shane pulled the trigger and Bellamy collapsed to the ground.
"NO! No..", I screamed. Clarke looked at me and slightly nodded. I realized that Shane actually shot the ground and Bellamy was still breathing. Murphy was too blinded by his angry to figure it out. So I played along.
"What is wrong with you?!", I yelled. He responded with whipping. At this point the entire back side of my sports bra was drenched in my blood. I could feel it trickle down my back. Everything hurt like hell. I started to breathe harder and got light headed. Shane walked up to me and stood strangely close to me, with his back towards me. He asked Murphy what he should do with Bellamy's body. He casually brushed his hand over his pocket knife. I discreetly took it and started to cut through the ropes around my wrist and the pole. Murphy yelled at Shane and he ducked off to the side.
"You're sick, you know?", I said and let out a scream when Murphy whipped me again. He took a knife and walked over to the campfire. He heated up the tip and poked at my wounds. This wasn't as bad as being in labor, but it still hurt. I screamed until my throat was dry.
"What's next, huh?", he whispered in my ear and forcefully kissed me. I bit his lip, head-butted him, and stabbed him in the shoulder. Shane quickly rushed over and pinned him down. Everything was in slow motion now. My eye lids were growing heavy and my knees gave up on me. My entire body was numb and my head was throbbing. I felt a pair of arms pick me up. A blurry face with curly hair was towering over me. A few seconds later I saw the same lamp swinging above me again. People were shouting, guns were fired, and my name was constantly being called. My body started shaking violently and my breaths was getting shorter. I was turned to my side and someone cradled my head.
"She's going into shock! Get some more blankets! Heat up some water! Hurry!", Clarke yelled.
The person who wrapped their arms around my head said, "Keep your eyes open. Please. Keep them open." It was a deep, soothing voice. My eyes did exactly the opposite of what Bellamy told me.
"Dammit Sloan! Just.. Stay with me okay? Listen to me.", his voice cracked. I reached for his hand and held weakly onto it. Then I whispered with all the strength I had left, "Leyla...".
He assured me that she was safe and Raven was already looking for her. Relieved to her that, I tried to sleep. I was just so tired.
