A sudden wave of shock flowed through me, giving me chills. Like my gut just dropped out of me. The necklace symbol was getting clearer and clearer in my memories, but I still dared not to say the name.
"Is everything okay?" Octavia said, interrupting my thought. "You look... Frazzled..."
"It's just- the necklace. I mean why would anyone leave it behind unless they wanted someone to follow it?"
"That's what I was thinking. Let's discuss this in the MT," Clarke started towards the meeting tent.
People gathered around as we walked, and asked questions that we could not answer. Not yet at least.Bellamy slammed his hand on the table, "I say that we move out tomorrow and find out who these people are!"
Clarke crossed her arms, "No, we stay and search the woods one more time to be sure that these people aren't working for the Grounders."
He dropped his head in frustration.
"Bel I think it's better if we stayed. Lincoln and I can examine the necklaces more," Octavia suggested.
He was softer now, "And we give these people another night to plot our deaths. Another night for them to watch us and find out our weaknesses."
"They can see, but they can't hear. Even if they're watching us, they don't know what we are capable of," Clarke said.
As they were debating, Raven, Finn, and I were off on the side studying the new map Finn drew from yesterday.
"You seem a little green," Finn whispered over Clarke and Bellamy.
The pain was easing in again. I gripped onto Raven's wrist, "Take me to the back, please."
Without another word she took my arm and helped me up.
"Where are you going?" Bellamy called out.
"Too get some fresh air," I managed to say with a smile.
He nodded at us and went back to Finn and the map.
We finally reached the medical and I laid back in a stretcher.
"I can't keep track of the numerous times I've laid on one of these."
"Well those are the consequences that comes with the little sucker," she laughed and teased.
"Ah!" I gritted through my teeth, "It's... definitely getting worse each time..."
"I'm getting Abby," she got up.
"Wait... not yet..." I breathed.
She returned by my side and held onto my hand.
"Contractions?"
I breathed deep, "No... Just... Pain."Ten minutes later, another episode comes in, longer than the last. It was like hell formed inside of my stomach and the pain spread everywhere.
"Ahh!!" I screamed, unable to hold it in anymore.
"Abby!" Raven rushed to the entrance, "Get Abby or Clarke! Something's wrong! Hurry!"
A few seconds later, Abby, Clarke, and Bellamy bolted into the medical.
I felt something wet beneath me.
"Oh god... No..." I gasped.
Abby slightly lifted my covers by my feet and froze.
Bellamy held my hand, "What's happening?!"
I let out another yell. I knew what was going on.
"I'm bleeding... And it's not... a good sign..."
My fist was so tight my nails dug into the palm of my hand. Abby and Clarke bent my legs so my feet were flat on the stretcher, shoulder width apart.
"She's having a miscarriage," Abby said professionally.
Bellamy's face dropped.
"Hey..." I choked, "It'll be... alright..."
"Sloan, the only thing you can do is to push, okay?! I know it hurts, but you're going to have to!" Abby said loudly over my painful screams.
Utter shock was written all over Bellamy's face as he watched me struggle.
"What can I do to help?!" He asked Clarke.
"Just support her, make sure she doesn't go unconscious."
"Bel-Bellamy, you don't- have to be here," I gasped and groaned.
Sweat was running down the sides of my face.
"Push!" Abby ordered.
I clenched my teeth and pushed, slightly sitting up.
"Keep her down!"
Bellamy put his hands gently on my shoulders.
"I've survived th-the Grounders and the R-reapers. I think I can- Ah!- survive this," I tried to reassure Bellamy.
"Don't worry, just focus on you," he gently said into my ear before I groaned again.
"How much... longer?!" I asked between forceful exhales.
"You're half way there! Don't give up Sloan!" Abby encouraged.
At this point I was crying in excruciating pain and Raven had to jump in to help Bellamy hold me down.
"A little more! Almost! Almost!" Clarke yelled.
I gave it my all and pushed my hardest that I mostly sat up, face flushed and wet from sweat.
"It's out! You're done!"
Everyone sat back and panted as Abby cleaned up. It was a huge mess, bloody cloths and water from the washing bin were everywhere. I relaxed my head on the stretchers and tried to pace my breathing.
"You're okay," Bellamy gently whispered as he dabbed my sweat with a cloth. Raven went to fetch some water as Clarke explained the screaming to the others complaining. Exhausted and relieved, I closed my eyes, but before I dozed off, I croaked, "Thank you... Everyone..."
