The female snapped out of her trance upon hearing her name. Her heart was beating continuously, a feeling the brunette hasn't felt since entering the agency.
"Are you sure you're fit for this mission?" her partner muttered quietly into her ear.
"Yes."
A lie.
She was sure Rosé noticed the way she tensed at the question, but if she did, she didn't say anything. Instead, the redhead offered her a smile and a comforting squeeze to her hand before lightly stepping out of the sleek black limo. Jisoo could hear the sound of her partner's retreating footsteps before being enveloped in silence, save for the repetitive thump of her heartbeat.
They had arrived.
And Jisoo, she couldn't breathe. ⠀
