Chapter 9: I'm Sorry

So today, I stayed in bed. My brothers understood the fact that I needed to rest. Cole told Devin what had happened in school, how I was pulled into a catfight and how I got that scratch near my eyebrow. We also told mom and she was very understanding. It's like 12:00 AM and I'm still under the blankets cuddled up to my favorite pillow. I decided that I would vlog this day as a chill video. Because usually I had something planned like challenges or topics I wanna talk about, but no one's ever seen my daily life. 

So I take my camera from the drawer of my bedside table, and I vlogged. I was still in bed tucked in with the camera in my hand, I clicked record.

"So I decided to stay home today, because I'm a lazy ass that's why. And it's ike noon and I'm still in bed. I just don't feel like getting up, but I will anyway. I'm kinda hungry, let's see if anyone left food for me in the kitchen," I said to the camera forcing myself up. Still holding the camera and still on record, I walk downstairs to the kitchen. "Oh lookie, there's a chicken sandwich," I said as I slowly head to the kitchen counter and take the sandwich.

I run upstairs and enter my room quickly, bringing the sandwich with me. I open the TV and play a movie. I'll probably just have movies and series marathons the whole day. I tie my wavy hair up in a ponytail for the comfort of not constantly pushing it to the side just to stop it from annoyingly poking my face.

I hold the camera up again and record "So I've tied my hair and I will now burrito wrap myself in blankets with my chicken sandwich, and watch movies. I'm not quite sure what movie but I'm gonna do it anyways. Movies make me feel better!" I vlog. I turn my camera off, and together with my chicken sandwich, I wrap myself in blankets and cuddle with pillows as I play the movie.

I decided on a romance film which is 'Letters To Juliet' and it was cool. I bite into my chicken sandwich as the movie goes on. And it was delicious, 100% bet mom made it. 

As soon as I finished the chicken sandwich. I paused the movie, run down stairs, pop up a big bowl of popcorn for myself, grab some A&W Root Beer, go back upstairs. And get caught up in the movie all over again. I continued vlogging althroughout the movies, sometimes only to film my reaction to certain parts. I was on the ending of 'Treasure Planet' when my brothers arrived from school.

I had my camera in hand and on record when I heard them downstairs. "I think my brothers just arrived," I said to the camera as I get up to check. I run down the stairs still recording, then I saw Devin and Cole by the door, taking off their shoes.

"Hey babe! Feeling better?" Cole asks as he opens his arms for a hug. I run in his arms for a big hug.

"How was school?" I ask him curiously. As I turn off my camera and stop recording.

He shrugs "Like always, boring. Katrina's suspended by the way," he informs me as he lets me go.

I bite my lip "It's all my fault," I state.

Devin approaches me for a bear hug "No it's not, she was suspended because it was her fault," he comforts me.

I smile as Devin lets me go. The three of us smile at each other before we all proceed to the kitchen Luckily I paused the movie before I ran downstairs. We ate some of Devin's specialty, which is porkchop marinated in his own homemade seasoning. Good cook he is!

I sliced some fruits for a decent fruit salad to accompany the meal. Cole made a quick run to the grocery to grab some drinks, because we ran out of sodas, root beer, and juice. We need drinks. Me and my brothers could live without legit food as long as we are accompanied by a life supply of A&W Root Beer. We started eating when Cole arrived with them bag of drinks.
