Chapter 11: Messed Up
I was staring at the many choices right in front of me, debating and arguing in my head which one I should get. This is serious business.
"So... what flavor of ice cream do you want exactly?" Noah asked me. Breaking the moment of intense seriousness.
Ok, maybe it's not much of a serious business. But come on, this guy was gonna buy me one flavor and he was gonna pay for it. I better not fuck up and regret my judge of ice cream flavor. "There's so much to choose from," I told him before looking up to see him holding a cone of his own ice cream. Noah chose rocky road and he seemed to be enjoying it.
He chuckled and licked his ice cream, I'm kind of suprised the ice cream hasn't melted in his hand because I tell you, he's looking hot. We got off detention earlier and it was torture, the whole time we just stared at each other. There was some kind of unsaid tension. After it however, me and him just drove straight to the ice cream place. I told Cole and he seemed to be pretty okay with it, he said he's always liked and respected Aiden Halder. Which was cool.
"You know what? Since you can't decide, I'll buy you a double scoop. Now hurry up I have a video waiting to be filmed," he informs me.
I smile "I'll just just get a double scoop double chocolate, beause damn," I tell him.
He rolls his eyes and gets me what I want.
When he gets back to me, he hands me my cone and we chose to hang out and eat our ice cream inside his car, because the ice cream place is packed with people.
"I'm afraid you like ice cream more than you like me, babe. Please give me some encouraging words to mortify my big ass fear," he teases me. I turn to him and I see that playful smirk.
I laugh softly and take my camera out of my bag and hold it up vlog style before recording. "So Mr. Halder here is afraid that his Youtube crush, yours truly, likes ice cream more than I like him," I say to the camera as I turn to let the camera see him.
He laughs, nods, and makes a cute pouty face "It scares me," he says.
Still recording I face him "I'll tell you I like you more than ice cream if you tell me you like me more than your hair," I try to convince him with an own smirk of my own.
He laughs once more and shakes his head "I am not hair obsessed."
I raise my eyebrow at him "Look at you, perfect sexy hair, and you say you're not hair obsessed. Horton hears a bitch ass liar," I joke. And we both erupt in laughter.
He nods and licks his lips, he looks at me with a small smile "Ok, maybe I do like my hair," he admits. "But I like you a little bit more," he adds with a wink.
I turn to my camera with a shocked face. And I start laughing "Sucks for you cause ice cream is life!"
He laughs as well. And honestly, I will treasure the worth of this moment I got on camera. I turn off my camera and we continue talking to each other about weird things. We just continued eating away our delicious ice cream as we converse about everything and nothing. Topics and senseless banters was all that came out of us and it was fun. He talked to me about the plans he had for himself and I told him mine. He filled me in on all of the things that was up for him this coming week and I did the same. It was a natural flowing conversation about all the things around us. Even as the sun was about to set, we stayed inside his car and held each other's gazes as we shared to each other our theories of how the earth was made and why the stars shine so bright.
