Chapter 6: I Just Can't...

I just woke up all of a sudden from a sweat trickling nightmare. I woke up with a scream held deep inside my throat, my heart was pumping. My stomach was twisting, I feel like vomiting but I just can't. I could smell my own fear, that was the most horrible nightmare just yet.

It was about me dying, but someone took my place. I never came close into knowing who that someone was; but he pulled me up from my deep pit of despair burried in my own heart and soul. I thanked him, but he said he didn't need me to say anything. So I stood there looking at his faceless form, he looked like a person eaten away by the shadows. Like he was completely avoided by the light, like he didn't deserve to gaze upon a beam of hope. That was where my nightmare had ended.

I got up and checked my phone, it's 8:00 AM and it's a Friday. Which means, NO SCHOOL. Yes! At least I can get a breather even for just a day. Oh right.

Today is the day. It's the day where me and Jace go out somewhere. He called me yesterday, told me I had to be ready by 5:00 PM. It's currently 10 AM and I have loads of time to get ready. But i can't help but fangirl a little bit inside so early in the morning. I decide to get up exactly when I heard screaming downstairs. 

Probably another argument about what's better chocolate syrup or strawberry syrup. I sigh mentally. I headed to the kitchen where all the bickering is coming from. I see my mother standing between my two brothers who are arguing about something small most probably.

"What's wrong now?" I ask annoyed of all the noise in such a beautiful early morning.

They all faced me.

"Answer me, Naya. Whose relationship is better Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder or Liam Payne and Sophia Smith?" Cole asks to my face.

I laugh at what he just said "Oh my god," I said in the middle of laughter.

My mom smiles "Morning, sweetheart. And I know it was a pointless argument," my mom says to me.

I look at my brothers' faces, and they look so serious about this argument they have about Directioner ships. "I will honestly tell y'all that I ship them both with all my heart," I told my brothers. Lifting my arms up in surrender. 

I walk to the refrigerator and took out the iced tea and poured it on a glass.

We slowly take a seat in front of the kitchen island and started eating out the pancakes mom has cooked. "Seriously though," Devin says to me.

"Ok, who ships Sophiam and who ships Elounor?" I ask them both.

My mom laughs and just ignores our 'ship-it-like-the-titanic' conversation.

The day went by quick, it was just me and my brothers playing around with the X-box until at like 3:00 PM. And I decided that two hours would be just right for me to get ready for this thing I have with Jace a bit later.

I run upstairs and hurry to the bathroom, where I just took the most effortful shower I have ever taken in my life. I decided on something a bit casual yet fabulous. I had chosen this really cute pleated black high-skirt, that I paired up with a creamy white cropped knitted sweater. I later decided to wear some stockings, I wore my cute kitty stockings that I pair up with everything I can pair it with. Then these cute pair of cream colored platform doll stilettos, with the cute little bow, made it up perfectly. I also wore some cute bracelets.
