(Hi! This is my first fanfic so sorry if it's horrible! So enjoy!!!)

It's our first day of school and oh god, Tyler's doing his stupid dance move again. And of course he has to do it in the middle of math class. Being a Sophmore in high school, I would think he would be more mature than that.

"Ok, Tyler. Can you please sit down now? I'm trying to teach right now if you wouldn't mind." Ms. Diana said. She's definitely my favorite teacher so far today. From how she dresses like a teenager to her cool personality. Even though she's 23, she can pass for a senior in high school.

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry Ms. Diana! I'll sit down now. I just got a little excited is all." After Tyler said that he sat down. Ms. Diana thanked him and turned back to the white board. Tyler flipped her off and the rest of the class started laughing quietly. Teenagers can be so rude.

After class was over, Rebecca ran over to me and basically tackled me.

"OMG guess what?!?!?!" She yelled right in my face.

I pushed her back a little and said, "What? You ran out of breath mints? Your breath spells awful."

"Jason finally asked me out! I'm so excited I think I'm going to faint!"

Jason is this guy Rebecca has liked since 7th grade. Whenever we hang out she doesn't shut up about him. Sometimes it gets super annoying, but what can I say? She really likes him.

"NO WAY! About time he did! What are you guys going to do?"

"He's taking me mini golfing. I think that's super adorable!" She just stands there with a huge grin on her face. To be honest, it's kind of creepy.

"Well, I hope you hav-" She cuts me off.

"CRAP! Class is about to start! I'll text you after school. Bye!" And then she ran down the hallway, accidently knocking papers out of this guys hands. He glared at her and started picking up his papers. I walked over and started to help him.

"Sorry about that. My friend can be a little crazy sometimes."

He looked up and smiled at me. He had a bandana on and his hair was done perfectly. When he smiled, he had dimples.

"Um, it's okay. She was probably just in a hurry."

"Yeah, she was," We just stared into each other's eyes, "Oh, yeah, and I'm Nikki."

"I'm Ashton. You're a sophomore right?"

"Yeah, you're a senior?"

"Yep. Well, thanks for helping me pick all of this up. Tell your friend she's in big trouble for doing this to me." We both laughed.

"I gotta get to class. So, bye."

"Bye." He smiled and walked away. I can't believe I've never seen him before. Maybe he's new.

I walked to my locker and grabbed my stuff for my last and least favorite subject of the day. Science. I hate science. I'm in this really weird type of science where you choose if you want to be in it. There are 6 different science classes that the whole high school can pick from. I picked the easiest one, of course.

I walk in and expect everyone to start staring at me because I'm like 10 minutes late. But everyone is out of their seats. I sit down at a desk. Someone sits down next to me so I turn around and see a guy smiling goofy at me in a red bandana.
