Chapter 11

I walk into my house and walk upstairs to my room. I walk in and start freaking out. I have no idea what I'm going to wear! This is a really fancy restaurant and I don't have a lot of fancy clothes. I guess I wasn't thinking when I made the reservations.

I decide that I need to go buy a dressy outfit. I go into the mall and walk into some clothing store. I saw suits in the window and knew I could find what I needed in there.

I walk over to where the dress shirts were. I liked the dark blue one so I payed for it and headed towards another clothing store for kakis. I walked into JCPennies and found them right away. I payed for them and started heading towards the door but not without running into Luke.

"Hey, Ash! I didn't see you in science today. Where were you?" He asked.

"Listen, it's a long story and I'm kind of in a hurry. I'll see you tomorrow at school." I said and then walked right past him. I felt kind of bad for doing that to him, but I needed to get home.

I got out of my car and walked inside my house. I ran straight to my bathroom to change into my new clothes. I look really different when I'm not wearing skinny jeans and a t-shirt, but I really wanted to impress her tonight.

I took my bandana out of my hair and combed it to the side. It's 6:00. I've got to leave soon.

It's 4:30 and I still haven't started getting ready. I went into my room and looked through my dresses. It was a really fancy restaurant so I had to dress up nice.

I picked out the dress I wore to weddings. It was a nice, flowy material that was a dark blue with flowers all around it. It has a open back that's in a v shape. I love this dress, but I don't go to a lot of weddings so I've only worn it about one time.

I put it on and walk into my bathroom to do my hair. I turn on my hair curler. While I'm waiting for it to heat up, I go on my phone. I scroll through Facebook and saw that Ashton posted something with me tagged in it.

Off to dinner with beautiful girlfriend:) - With Nichole Reed

That made me smile. No guy has ever called me beautiful before. I put my phone away and started curling my hair. I made sure they were nice, bouncy curls because those looked the fanciest. I pinned my curled bangs back and started on my makeup.

I put on my light gray eyeshadow and did my black eyeliner kind of thick. I put on mascara that made my eyelashes look really long. The dark makeup really brings out the blue in my eyes. That's why I always wear eyeliner.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I think I look really fancy. I hope tonight goes well.

Even though I met Ashton not even a week ago, I feel like I've known him forever. I feel like I can tell him anything. He's like my other best friend.

I text Ashton and tell him that I'm ready. He texts back almost right away saying he'll be there in about fifteen minutes. It's 6:05 right now.

My heart is pounding as he pulls into the driveway. I'm looking out of my bedroom window right now. I see him starting to walk up to the front door. Good thing my parents aren't here. I don't want Ashton here when my dad is here. My dad doesn't seem to like him very much.

I put my silver, two and a half inch heels on and walk carefully downstairs. I don't use heels very often so I'm not very used to them. I hope I don't fall down tonight. I wouldn't be very surprised if I did after seeing how "well" I walk in them right now.

I hear the doorbell as soon as I'm on the bottom step. I hop to the door and open it up. I see a smiley Ashton with a bouquet of roses. I smile big as he hands them to me. I take them and walk to the kitchen quick to put them in a vase. I grab my purse and then head out with Ashton.
