Chapter 10

~Nikki's Pov~

I'm in math right now and I'm falling asleep. I stayed at Ashton's house until midnight last night and I didn't get enough sleep.

"Ms. Reed! Am I interrupting your nap time?" The substitute boomed through the room. I lifted my head off the desk at looked at him. I didn't even know I fell asleep.

"Oh...um...I'm....I'm sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep, sir."

"Go to the office. I won't teach people who don't have an interest in what I'm teaching."

Well, he's a bitch.

"Yes, sir." I stood up quickly and walked out of the room fast. I sat down in the office and took out my phone but made sure the lady at the desk didn't see it. I texted Ashton.

To: Ashton<3

From: Me

Hey guess where I am? I'll give you a hint. I got in trouble:(

He's in Calculus so I don't know if he'll answer, but five seconds after it sent, I received a new text.

To: Me

From: Ashton<3

I'll see you in about a minute:)

I wait to see what he's what he's up to. He walks in and sits down next to me.

"Hi? What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"My phone went off in Calculus and I looked at it. My teacher caught me and sent me here. I figured you were in here already since you said you got in trouble." He said and then he winked at me.

I smiled and looked at the floor.

"So, since we're in here, do you want to plan out our next date?"

"What do you have in mind?" I ask him.

"I think we should go out for dinner. Somewhere romantic." I looked at him and he was moving his eyebrows up and down in a flirty way. I smack his arm.

"And when would this date be?"

"Mmm I was thinking tonight."

"Then you're the one who has to plan it out."

"Well, I already did. I made a reservation for us at the new restaurant, Fine Dinning."

"What? When? Won't that cost a lot?"

"Don't you worry about the price. I got that covered. And I called the restaurant this morning. If you wouldn't have come, I would have just canceled."

I smiled big. "Thank you so much." I grabbed his hand and he gave it a squeeze. I looked over at the lady. She was on her computer and didn't seem like she cared we were even sitting over here.

Ashton leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Do you want to sneak out?" Even that gave me the chills.

The lady probably wouldn't see us if we tried to sneak out. I nod at him and put my backpack on, him doing the same. We stand up and tiptoe to the door, still hand in hand. When we were at the door, the office lady turned around and saw us.

"Hey! You two get back in here right now!" She yelled at us.

Ashton started running towards the door, dragging me with him. We were running as fast as we could and when we reached the car, we crawled in and got off of school properity as fast as we could. As soon as we got on the street, we bursted out with laughter.

"That was hilarious!" He said.

"Good thing you started running. I thought she was going to run after us! She looked so mad!"

We laughed even more.

"So, do you want to come over?" I asked.

"Sure. I still have to see what your beautiful house looks like on the inside." He smiled at me, showing his dimples. God I loved his smile.

We pull into my driveway at about 2:15. School ends in an hour. We get out of the car and walk up to to my front door holding hands. I take out my key and put it in the key hole on the front door.

~Ashton's Pov~

We walked in and it was gorgeous. I mean it made sense. A beautiful girl needs to live in a beautiful house.

"This is the kitchen." She said as we walked in there.

"Are you sure this isn't the bathroom? I mean, who doesn't have a dishwasher in their bathroom?"

She rolled her eyes. We walked through the living room and started up the stairs. She led me into her bedroom and sat down on her bed. I did the same.

"So, do you like it?" She asked me.

"It's a really nice house. I'm jealous." I reponded.

I stared into her eyes. I leaned in and kissed her. I lowered her on the bed until I was on top of her.

We were now kissing vigorously. I hungered for her lips all day. It feels so good to finally get time alone like this.

We were really getting into it. I was now kind of grinding on her. Her hands were pulling on my hair, causing me to moan. It felt so fricken good, I wish this could last forever. I whine when she pulls away.

"I'm sorry, but my parents are going to be home any minute and I don't want them to walk in on us like this." I just nod. We lay down on the bed and I fling my arm around her waist. We sit like that for about ten minutes until her parents get home.

She looks at me. "I think you should leave."

"Why? What's wrong?" She shakes her head. "You can trust me, babe."

"I just...I don't want you to see them fight."

I had no idea her parents were like that. She never told me.

"Aw, I'm sorry babe," She just looked at me. "Can I meet them?"

"Yeah. Let's go."

We walk downstairs. As we reach the bottom of the steps, I grab her hand and give it a squeeze. I give her a "it'll be ok" look. We walk into the kitchen and her mom and dad are sitting on opposite ends of the table.

"Mom, dad. I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Ashton." I'm still not used to that. I can't believe I'm the most beautiful girl's boyfriend.

Her mom stood up to greet me. "Why, hello Ashton. Nice to meet you." She said while shaking my hand.

"Nice to meet you too ma'am."

I looked over at her dad, who was looking at his hands. He got up and walked out of the room. Nikki looked at me and shrugged.

I left about five minutes after that to get ready for our dinner together. The reservations were at 6:30. It was 4:10 at the moment.

I got in my car and drove to my house. I hope this date is perfect.
