Main story twist:

Right from Afghanistan to now, Rick has been with a synchronized clone, not his real dad. The dad is in a high tech place with his senses hooked up to a machine that controls and interacts the with clone

BIG PLOT TWIST

Eric knows the foe, it is a race called the caretakers.

They see races and civilizations that are self destructive and slowly save individuals who are just about to die and transport them to their ship and hook them up to their machines on transdimensional ships.

The machines keep them alive but they are forced to live through the machine and control a remote body back at home.

They never know until its late.

Their marionette body can be cut, shot and burned, but their real body never dies. It is forced to live on with reset memories.

Humanity is forced to live on just for the sake of living on.

Soon all of the race are captured and sent to the facilities until the whole planet had been replaced by marionettes.

Once that happens the memories, thoughts, intentions are all extracted and stored in their information containers for long term eternal usage.

An entire planet of non-human, nom original beings... living by proxy....

Remotely living humans!!!

Eric "this race is older than my kind... but we have always known to stay as far away as they can... they will manipulate situations to have more chances to replace individuals who just happened to be near death but not too many of the elderly...

They are even capable of organizing a mass genocide to replace mass numbers of species!

Later, Afghan group capture and fail interrogation on Nathan.

Rick comes to save him. Unknown, they were being watched. The failed interrogation was a ploy for watchers to observe abilities and movement.

Russel not with us this time

After just a few seconds BRIGGS and SHACKLE burst into the room, identified who to shoot and who not to, then made the rest sleep. It was almost like killing them, but not quite.

Unfortunately, the mother and old man that weren't tranquilized brought out two AK47s and were about to shoot at me while I was just entering the room!

My squad were all were informed about my suit's abilities, but SIERRA reacted the way she knew how. She shot both of them right in front of me.

Tranquilizing rounds will put people with normal constitutions to sleep temporarily, but for an older man and a woman of 40-something years age that was the kind of sleep no one wakes up from.

SIERRA released this but still fired.

"In a firefight it is your life or theirs."

I forgot whose voice said that as I was still in shock at SIERRA.

Before I could turn to shout at her LONGSHOT's voice yelled over the comm, "Incoming! People from the upstairs are comin' down."

Sierra stays back with Rick while Briggs and Shackle head upstairs. BS clear room. Sierra and Rick enter a scene of bodies?

Little afgan boy with a grenade, same as from earlier... poor kid, only did what he was told...
