~Elise's P.O.V~
I sighed in content. After a long day of missions i was laying in bed curled up in Itachi's side. I had my head on his shoulder, and his arm around my waist.
I started thinking of Emi and Sasuke. What were they doing? What was happening?" "Elly?" Itachi asks, breaking me out of my thoughts. "I'm just thinking of Emiko." I say. "Even though i betrayed her........" I sit up. "Sometimes i wish she was never apart of the clan. I wish that they never took her in. I hate myself for saying that but," i take a shaky breath, "it's true." Itachi sits up, pulling me close to him.
"It wasn't even because of a coup." i say angered. "It was because Emi is a Jinchuriki. all because she has the One-Tails. So it was either kill the clan now, or wait for Emi to kill them, me included." Tears fall down my face, in anger and pain. "She was just a little girl! Everyone looked at her like she was a monster!" I was yelling at this point. "A killer! but she wasn't! SHE DIDN'T MEAN ANY HARM!!" I scream at the top of my lungs. The entire organization probably heard me, but at this point i didn't care.
Itachi wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pulled me close to him. tears fell down my cheeks, and i cried. he started muttering sweet nothings into my ear, holding me close to his chest.
