Emi's P.O.V

I felt excited? Nervous? Riku did say that it would be easy for me to learn the Lightning Jutsus. Couple that with the fact that Lady Tsunade would be able to allow me to walk again, I was happy.

I also felt a little guilty though. I was breaking my promise to Sasuke that I wouldn't be a Kunoichi anymore. He didn't know. I wasn't about to bring it up.

The comfortable silence was broken by a loud knock. "Come in." i say.

"You have a visitor, Miss. Shihio." the nurse says stepping into the room.

"Who?" I ask.

"Me of course." Ino replies. "I brought you some flowers to replace the dead ones."

"Thanks."

"No problem."

"What's going on, Ino? I haven't heard anything about Lady Tsunade since a few days ago at least. I'm going crazy with worry." I stare out the window.

"Truth be told, none of us have." Ino looks out as well.

"Well, where's Sasuke? I haven't seen him for longer than that. A week or so at least."

"I'm sure he's fine. He hasn't left his old compound in a while though." Ino shrugs. "Forehead's still chasing after him."

"Sakura will never learn." I sigh

"I backed off. I know how much he loves you. And only you. She does not." She shrugs again. "Say, did you hear about the newbie in the village?"

"Newbie?" i look at her a bit confused.

"Yeah, his name is Riku. He's staying with Asuma-Sensei."

"I did yeah." I reply. "I met him the day we were training together. Nice guy. Might be a certain Forehead's type......I can't believe I just said that. Wow." I shake my head.

"Sakura? Whyy exactly?"

"No idea. I said that without thinking. I regret it."

Ino stares at me clearly amused.

"Hey, its a possibility." I shrug.

"You're only thinking that because it'll get her away from Sasuke aren't you?" Ino asks.

"Mayybeee?" I ask. "Ok, yes. I will do ANYTHING to get Sakura away from my boyfriend." I stare out the window again, and suddenly get an idea.

"Could you bring me a sketch pad, pencil and colored pencils? And Charcoal. My paints too. I'm extremely bored and just got a very creative burst. They're over there by the chair."

Ino grabs my requested items and gives them to me.

"Thanks." I switch to a random page and just start drawing.

I draw a close up of me and Sasuke sitting on his roof, watching the sunset. I stop, and imagine the scene.

The Hokage faces are illuminated by the pink and gold light. My head in his lap. He's stroking my hair. We end up laughing and talking through it. He'd then lead me inside, where he would kiss me passionately, that leading to a make out session followed closely by-

I snapped out of my thoughts blushing madly. I shouldn't be thinking about that.I scolded myself. though...it does sound...no! Emi how dare you? Your thirteen! You shouldn't think that. ​​I sighed.

Ino had left the room a little while ago. She had something important to do.

I heard barking coming from down the hallway. Suddenly the door opened and Clay came bounding in. He jumped onto the bed and started to lick my face.

"Hey..hahaha! S...stopp! Hahahaha!" I laughed. He barked happily. "How's my good boy?" she coos rubbing the top of his head. He barks again.

"he missed you a lot." Kiba says.

"He was with you the whole time?" I ask.

"Yeah, he came running to us one day, because he smelled Akamaru." said dog barks in agreement. "Has been coming around a lot since then."

"At least my baby is ok." I say. Clay barks again jumping off the bed and running around the room sniffing at everything.

"Thanks for taking care of him, Kiba." I say.

"Hey, my pleasure." he replies.

He leaves as well, leaving clay with me. My puppy yawns a bit and comes back to the bed. He curls up onto my legs, carefully avoiding my injured one, and quickly falls asleep.

I pet him, my fingers going through his long fur.

The door opens once again. I turn to see Sasuke leaning on the door frame.

"About time." I say. "I was waiting DAYS! I was about to go crazy!"

"Sorry..." He replies.

"Did you at least manage to get the thing I wanted?"

He nods. "I still think this isn't a good idea..."

I sigh. "Its our only shot at getting these marks off."

"I know."

"I've had so many visiters today." I say. "Ino brought me flowers, Kiba brought in our pup. Whatd you bring me?"

"My love?" he asks.

"Yeah?"

"No, I brought my love for you."

"Aww."

He walks over to the bed, sitting down car fully avoiding our fluff-ball. He brings me into a hug.

I kiss him, my arms wrapping around his neck. The kiss heats quickly, and soon it's turned into a heated make out. He crawls on top of me, kissing my neck. I put my hand on his chest and push him away.

"Stop." I say. "I..I'm not ready for that."

He gets off and lays by my side, saying, "to young anyway...." I chuckle a bit as he pulls me closer to his chest. He lays his chin on my head. I cuddle closer to his body his warmth consuming me. "I love you."

"I love you as well." he replies. With that, we both fall asleep.

"What's going on? Why has Sasuke seemingly disappeared for a few chapters then reappeared?"

Emi and Sasuke are getting.....more comfortable with each other lets say. ;)

And....Sasuke and Emi are hiding something. I'm not saying what though.

Do you think I should do a lemon for this? Like, have a different book for "Phoenix of Konoha" Lemons?
