Phoenix Fire (Book 2/6 of the Phoenix of Konoha series)

Tsunade

~3rd person~

Two women walk into the Konoha Hospital. One of them is blond, the other is dark haired.

"What are you doing here?" someone asks.

"I heard that you have a fee patients that can't be helped by your staff." the woman replies. "So I have come to help them."

She does just that, starting with Lee, and ending with the blue-haired female.

"Who's in this room?" the blond, Tsunade asks.

The nurse checks her papers. "This room is occupied by....." she sorts through the paper. "....Emiko Shihio. Why?"

"This is the girl was the one who's leg was crushed. Am I right?"

The nurse nods. "She was a genin before that. Her old sensei reported that she was participating in the Chunin Exams."

~Emi's P.O.V~

I heard knocking at my door, and the nurse comes in. "You have a visiter." she says.

I become hopeful. "Who?" I ask.

A blond woman walks in. "My name is Tsunade." she says.

"So," I say, "Naruto succeeded huh?"

"You know Naruto?" she asks.

"He was my old teammate, we have a bit of a...frienemy relationship..." I look away.

"Can I have a look at your leg?" she asks.

I slide the blankets off. I don't even look at the leg. The bruises and cuts running up and down are gross looking. Its like the nurses barely did anything.

Tsunade hovers her hand over my leg, a green glow emitting from it. "I'm sorry to say this," Tsunade says. "There are to many bone fragments around the bone. It's a miracle that the bone isn't broken its self."

"It....its not broken?" I say. "But-"

"You can't walk because the bone fragments are surrounding the bone." Tsunade says. "Luckily, its an easy process to remove the fragments. after the surgery, you will have to stay here for another few days at least."

My eyes widen. "You....you mean I'll be able to be a Kounoichi again?" I ask.

She nods.
