Secret Visit

As I laid in bed resting and being bored, Lady Tsunade's words came to me.

She said the situation with my legs was complicated and it would take a few days to plan out the finer details of the surgery. She also said that she was aware of my attempts to exercise my leg and escape my room and that if I didn't want to jeopardize my chances of a successful surgery and recovery that I need to stay put until then.

So here I was, resting in bed as instructed. Gawd this was boring. I still wanted to see everyone and find out what was going on in the village but I now knew why that couldn't be.

Just as I was about to resign myself to sleep, I heard my door suddenly slide open.

focusing my attention on the door, I waited to see who was there yet nobody was there.

Suddenly from my window that I didn't realize had just been opened, Riku entered.

"Hello again Emi." he greeted.

"Uh, h-hello, how'd you do that?" I asked.

Riku smiled. "Curious are we? Well, I'll show you."

He then flashed through a sequence of hand signs. "Lightning Clone Jutsu."

Suddenly, an exact copy of himself appeared beside him from a spark.

"Haaa!" I exclaimed with sparkles in my eyes.

"Whoa, I want to learn that." I said excitedly.

Riku just chuckled. "Don't worry, you will. However, for today.."

Riku then pulled out four books, three of which he placed in my lap.

"These are the jutsus I can teach you right now, take a look at them and tell me which one you would like to learn." he told me as his clone closed the open door.

I did as he said but soon noticed something.

".. Um, Riku-" I begin.

"Yes. what is it?" he asks.

Well, I uh.. I kinda know this one already." I say holding up the book for the Lightning Bolt Jutsu.
