Emi's P.O.V.
With me unable to do nothing else today, I started to daydream. About the first thing me and Sasuke would do once I got out of here. About what I imagine my Squad and friends are all doing right now. About that little light of hope I had been given a few days ago. I can still remember it now.

After me and Sasuke had made up and he had decided to leave for the day, my alone time to mourn the end of my shinobi career was cut short as the door to my room suddenly opened. Try though I might however, I couldn't see anybody in the doorway. Suddenly, I heard a voice from behind the door
"Emi Shihio, I heard you earlier when you said you still wanted to be a Ninja. I also heard you tell Sasuke Uchiha you'd quit those same duties for him. So which is it? Do you want to continue on as a shinobi or not?"
"Who are you?" I ask. Then pause a moment. "Wait were you spying on us?" I accuse.
I heard the voice sigh. "Just answer the question. Do you still want to be a Kunoichi or not?"
I fall silent and try to search my heart for the answer. Finally, I set my jaw and puff out my chest as I look up. "I do"
The voice chuckled. "Very well Emi Shihio, I believe I can help you with that" he said as he walked into the room and shut the door.
!?!
That hair!
Before me stood a redheaded boy with long hair and I immediately recognized him.
"Riku!"
Said boy chuckled. "Why hello Emi, we meet again it seems"
"W-why are you here?"
"Heh, I believe I just told you why did I not?" he smirked. Now, down to the business of your NInja career... tell me, how much Lightning Style do you know?"
