Chapter 23: Old Friends

I'm walking around in a white room. It seems like I've been walking for ages. My forehead isn't even cut from the execution. Even though Mononeko sliced me... It just vanished or something. "Lily." I here a familar voice. I turn around to see everyone. "Guys..." I begin. Scar runs up to me, giving me a hug. They all have angel wings and halos. "You're early aren't ya...?" Stiffy jokes. "Where are we...?" I begin. "Where do you think..." Rous crosses her arms. "We're sending you back." Mary walks up to me. "Wait... I'm dead?!" I gasp. "Almost... You're close... That's why you can see us! You'd have wings too if you were dead." Declan says. "Go on back... Everyone needs you..." Scar smiles, tears in her eyes. "But..." I begin. "We're all okay. We promise." Ender appears smiling. "Yeah... Tell Swift I said hi... and I'm okay...Alright...?" Cheesy smiles. I nod as I see a door appear. I look around at them and notice some one with black hair and red eyes. She looks at me and smiles. "You'll know who I am soon. And you'll know the mastermind very soon." She sighs, seeming to be slightly angry as everyone turns and begins walking away. "Bye everyone..." I say. I turn and begin walking toward the door. "We'll meet again one day! Live on for us all!" Scar shouts. I grab the doorknob, crying slightly. "We will." I smile as I open the door and a bright light shines. I step through the door and everything becomes black.

I sit up gasping. It feels like my lungs had no air. I hold my chest breathing in and out. I feel my forehead only to groan in pain. There's a small slash on my forehead. I feel something warm falling from my arm. I look to see red liquid gushing from my arm. I sigh lying back down. "I guess I'm gonna die down here..." I sigh trying to conserve energy as I fall back asleep.

I jolt up when I hear garbage bags fall from the ceiling. I gasp holding my chest. One of the bag moves and it rips open causing me to scream. Xeo comes out of the bag gasping. I stand up as he brushes himself off. "Gross.." He groans. He looks up from his shirt and looks at me. "Lily!" He hugs me. I catiously hug him back, trying not to hurt my arm. "You're alive... Thank goodness." He sighs. "Why are you here..." I begin. "We wanted to save you. "We...?" I begin. "Everyone... When we found out you weren't guilty... We wanted to save you. Mononeko mentioned a garbage room so I hid in the trash." He says. "How do we get out....?" I begin. "I know how to a pick simple lock." He says. "Xeo..." I smile. I notice a spork in his hair and point at it laughing. "What..?!" He begins when he notices. He blushes and throws it to the floor. "First you should eat..." Xeo pulls an apple and a water bottle from his jacket. We sit on the floor. "Xeo... I saw.. Them..." I begin.

"Who...?" He asks. I take a bite of my apple. "Everyone. Rous, Declan... Them." I chew as his mouth falls to the floor. "Did you...?" He begins. "Almost die...? Kinda..." I begin. He hugs me tightly. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry you almost died because of us..." He says. "It's fine... I saw everyone and they're all happy..." I say as he pulls away. "But... Someone else was there too... I feel like someone was missing but I didn't know who..." I say. "Huh... Well it's good to hear everyone is happy." He says. "Yeah... We also found something..." Xeo says. I tilt my head. "We didn't want to go in without you..." Xeo says looking at the floor.

"Shall we go...?" He says pointing toward the ladder. I nod and he begins climbing. I follow close behind and it feels like we've been climbing for hours. Xeo picks the lock and the door opens. I squint my eyes as the light burns my eyes. Xeo helps me stand. I almost fall and I feel extremly dizzy. "Your arm..." He gasps. "It's fine..." I groan. "Let's just get going yeah?" I smile. He returns the smile. We walk to the dining hall where everyone is. "Lily!" Anna gasps. Everyone looks up at me, their expression is a mix of shock and happiness. Simple hugs me as well as Anna. "We're sorry..." Simple says. "We... We didn't know..." Anna begins as they both pull away. "It's okay... " I smile. "No it's not... We almost killed you..." Xeo says. "It's okay... I'm happy that I saw everyone again..." I smile. "Lily... You saw them...?" Mango gasps. "Yeah... And Swift..." I begin. She looks at me. "Cheesy says Hi and she's okay..." I smile. Her eyes water as she hugs me. I hug her back as I hear a familar voice.

"Princess...?"

Swift releases me from the hug to let me turn around. Mononeko stands there. "PRINCESS!" He hugs me sobbing. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you! I'm sorry I almost chopped your skull!" He cries. "...It's okay..." I sigh hugging him back. We pull away from each other. "I'm so sorry..." He says as tears fall down his cheeks. "I'm so relieved to see you okay..." He says. He kisses me causing my face to heat up. I give in and kiss back. We pull away, a smile on his face. He hugs me tightly. "You guys have a trial in the morning... Master thought it would be good to let you all sleep..." Mononeko says pulling away. "Yeah alright..." I say. He turns to leave, a tint of red in his cheeks. "Way to go Lily!" Simple pats my back causing everyone to laugh.

"We should show her." Xeo says. Everyone nods as the drag me up the stairs to the fifth floor. They open a door only for a cold blast to hit us. I shiver as we step inside. "What is this...?" I begin. "A body room." Xeo says. It's a long hall with about 20 doors. I open one door to see Scar's body laying on a table. I jump back and Simple holds me. Xeo closes the door. I feel my eyes water as Simple sighs, petting my head. "Everyone's body is here..." I don't wanna even look at them. "Can we go...? I wanna take a shower and sleep..." I begin. Xeo nods as we all scatter out of the freezing hall.

The next day I wake up to a new announcement.

"Students. Make your way toward the elevator for the final class trial."

I get up groaning. I walk out my door and walk to the elevator where everyone is already waiting. "This is it..." Mango says. "You're going to meet master." Mononeko says pushing the button. He's shaking a little. I look at the ground as we slowly go to our last trial. I'll avenge them all.

We get to the trial room. The walls are white with beige tiles. "Here we go..." Mononeko gulps. We step out of the elevator and walk to our stands. I look at each of the pictures. This is for everyone who was killed. "Master they're here. We all wait for someone to appear.

Laughter can be heard. Loud and scary.

The Mastermind jumps out from the floor leaving us all in shock.
