I backed up. No, no, she had seen my eyes. I turned, now having my back to her and covered my eyes with my hands. No, I had only just met her, she was nice and now what will she be thinking of me?

"Josiah?" Elana said again.

I slowly turned around and uncovered my eyes. Elana had a small smile on her face.

"You don't need to cover your eyes around me. They're beautiful, why would you want to hide them?"

I frowned, confused.

"Beautiful?" I said.

"Yes. Well, now I know why you were covering your eyes, you didn't think they were awesome. That's why you need me, to get you to realize how awesome you are. It's clear that you don't have much self confidence."

I gave her a shy smile. Then I remembered the page and my smile faded. I turned to Barton.

"I'm going to have to go for a while, keep yourself and Elana safe."

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To find  some people I haven't seen in a very long time."

I went to leave but then I turned back to Elana.

"I'll be back."

Then, I left the building. I put my mask back on and headed home. When I arrived home I grabbed a bag and started packing everything I would need for the trip. I wondered if anything had changed, where I was going, was it all the same as the last time I had been there? I finished packing and then headed to my car which was still in the same place I had left it, near the News building. I got in and started driving.

A few hours passed and I continued driving. I put on some music. When I got to the song "Idol" by BTS it started to rain. A few minutes later I stopped at a Tim Hortons for lunch. After I paid I returned to my vehicle and ate my lunch. The guy who had taken my order had been staring at me, it had made me very uncomfortable. When I finished eating I started driving again. The rain finally stopped and the sun came out. I continued driving. After around 4 hours I went to a restaurant. At first I was planning on eating in the restaurant but when I entered everyone was looking at me, so I paid for takeout. I got a container of spaghetti and some garlic bread. Also, I got a lemonade and a brownie.

I drove to a hotel and paid for the night. The room was small but it didn't matter to me. I got ready for bed, then went to sleep immediately.

In the morning I awoke, got ready, then left. Half an hour later I stopped at a Tim Hortons and paid for a blueberry muffin then I continued driving. There weren't many vehicles on the highway today. After a few hours I stopped at a waterfall. I had been here before, back when I was living with my parents, we had gone on lots of trips because I was being bullied all the time in our town, so my parents would take my little sister and I out of town for a bit. I remember staring at the waterfall, eating a chocolate bar. I felt it calming, staring at the water.

The waterfall was fairly high up. I couldn't see much of the top of it. At the bottom there was a lot of mist and I could feel a few droplets of water hitting my skin. I stood in front of  the river, in front of the waterfall. I heard birds singing. There was a strong wind and lots of clouds in the sky. I shivered and pulled the hood of my hoodie up over my head. Just then, I was grabbed from behind. I started to struggle and I elbowed the person in the stomach, the person let go of me for a moment but before I could get away, someone hit me over the head and I blacked out.
