They showed me the news footage of me stealing the money. I realized there was a possibility that Damian Barton and Elana had seen the news footage as well. They may have recognized me. I tried not to think about it. I knew what I did was wrong but there was nothing I could do about it. Two days after I had another task and it took me 2 hours to complete. There had been many guards around and it had been difficult. I almost got caught, so Renée told my teacher to train me more. I got less sleep, and less breaks and I was covered in bruises from all the times I was too slow to defend myself during practises. One night, I fell asleep around 2 o'clock in the morning because I had spent more time practising than normal.

I was around 8 years old, sitting on a rock. Beside me was my best friend, Nesjay Talken. It was hot out and there wasn't much of a breeze. I was nervously twiddling my thumbs. It was now or never, I'd known Nesjay most of my life, I trusted him. I stood up.

"Nesjay, I have something to tell you."

I continued.

"You asked why I always covered my eyes with a mask. Well, it's because I look a little different then everyone else."

I took off my mask and turned to look at Nesjay. He stared at me and his eyes widened.

"Your, your eyes!"

Then he got up and started backing up away from me. Fear evident in his eyes.

"I've been friends with a monster!" He cried before turning and running away from me.

After that he stopped being my friend and he made friends with Silas and started bullying me. Silas had already been bullying me for years, because of my mask. But it was worse once Nesjay joined him. He told them about my eyes and even forced me to take off my mask in front of the entire class when the teacher had left to go get some papers. He had said if I didn't take off my mask he would start bullying my sister. Once, Silas tripped me and then let his friends beat me up while I lay on the ground trying to get up. I stopped wearing my mask since everyone had already seen my eyes.

They would take photos and videos of me. I would get hate mail, rude messages and glares every day. My parents told me we would move to a different town. But then my parents would have to quit their jobs and in this area it was hard to find new jobs. I didn't tell them what Silas had said.

"I'll give you an offer, if you leave we will leave your family alone, we'll forget you exist. But if you stay will start hurting not just you but your sister, parents, everyone in your family. Your parents are already getting hate at work, they just haven't told you."

And so I left, to make my family's life better. At first I moved to a city not far from the border of my country. I had been saving money from my allowances and I worked little jobs to pay for an apartment. It was hard to get a job because I was only 10. Then I found a job that would give me tons of money so I moved farther away from my family, further into another country. I was paid to spy on people, be a decoy for robbers and I would trade information with people only to give that information to another for money. After 7 years I started working for Damien Barton.

At first, I wasn't sure I could trust him, he seemed very mysterious and wouldn't talk much. The emails I would get were straight to the point. It had occurred to me once that he could lead me directly to a trap and I wouldn't even know until I was caught by the police. But I had to trust him. Besides, he payed me lots of money, more then the other people I had worked for. And every time I finished a task he would send me an email thanking me.
