[Prompt: I wished every day to hold you once more.]

The water splashed around your body like a liquid blanket, warming you to the very core of your bones. You felt at peace but it wasn't because of the water.

No, the feeling rooted from the body under yours. You sighed happily as you continued to draw little flowery patterns on his skin with droplets. "I missed you," you said as you nuzzled into his neck, the longer locks of orange hair tickling your nose.

"So did I," he murmured and kissed your forehead, "if only did that damned wannabe detective trap you there with me at least." He complained half-heartedly. Although his stay in the book would be much nicer, he was glad that you were safe. Who knows what could've happened to you there.

"I wouldn't escape, I can't just punch my way out you know," you teased, making him bite your ear in retaliation. But he was smiling nonetheless; you were too, both happy and content in each other's arms.

"I wished every day to hold you once more," he whispered against your skin as he pulled you closer to him. You chuckled at his cheesiness. For once, however, you didn't complain.
