Your fingers traced his lovely features, slowly sliding down from his temples to his high cheekbones. His skin was smooth, without scars or wrinkles. Perfect. As was everything about his physical form, with his tall, slender figure and crown of strawberry blonde hair. No wonder he got to be among those chosen to survive. You continued your explorations, still moving down to his lips, as his grip on your waist got tighter while he smiled almost unnoticeably.

"Did you miss me so much?" he teased, his eyes sparkling with genuine curiosity. He seemed pleased. You nodded with a gentle smile of your own. "I always feel so empty without you," you confessed to him, shifting closer to press your body against his. He was so warm; everything was so warm, illuminated only by the soft light of candles. He pressed a kiss to your forehead as a reward for your answer. Yet still he remained amused. "Did you worry about me?" he murmured softly against your skin. "I always worry, I know your ways of getting what you want," you desperately wanted it to sound teasingly but you failed.

You felt the smirk spread on his lips. "Are you jealous, darling?" he didn't even try to hide how much fun he was having as he lowered his head to look into your eyes. "Yes." There was no point in lying, he'd know anyway. He valued your honesty nonetheless, showing that much by gently caressing your sides. "Oh, darling," he smiled brightly, leaning forward to capture your lips in a kiss. "You know you're the only one. The others are just play things to kill time, none of them would I touch the way I touch you." To prove his point, he pulled you even closer to him. His hands roamed all over your body gently while he kissed you breathless.

He, arguably, wasn't a good man. But at least he also wasn't a man that would allow his love to feel uncertain of his feelings.
