We met under the mosquitoes. Bites drowning all our sorrows. Pain changing each and every heartbeat. Intertwined before buried. We met under the mosquito bites. After all, it was just you and I.
It was just you and I.
I remember, do you? The green, sharpened blades of extraordinary beings. We were being hunted. The Sun, a ticking time-bomb, just waiting to explode into cornflakes and milk. I had skipped breakfast. Just to be here. You reminded me of my stupidity. Your cheekbones, so sharp, yet ever so blunt, your eyes, sweet and blissful, lay burdened upon me. A careless body possessed your soul, bringing it to life, bringing me to life. Everything I wanted, every person I wanted, every want I wanted was here, was you, was us.
The only want I could not have.
