You headed straight for the antique shop ahead of us. I couldn't visualise anything special about it until my eyes grasped onto the object which had only drawn countless amounts of your admiration to it – a skateboard. Of course. What else could it be?

My legs dragged me forwards and I grunted, begging them to let me be. They refused. A pair of ears immediately perked up when the sounding of the rusty bell was heard and the lady behind the counter smiled. It seemed as though she had been stranded here all her life, guarding a treasure of some sort.

I turned back towards you and caught your fingers dancing upon that skateboard. You'd just come out of hospital and this was what you were thinking about? Unbelievable. But then again, the lack of attention you present towards your health has been the same since day one – absolutely none.

You already had multiple skateboards so why did you need yet another one? Even if you did need another one, why did it have to be such an ancient one? I began to question if I even understood you. But right now, you looked at peace.

I would never have given up this moment for another. Ever.

Lmao okay then.
