I don't even know why we are here. All I know is that you dragged me, practically teared me away from the final episode, just so I could attend some lame, old house party with you; I regret disregarding those lessons on how to grow some muscles.

Anxiously sitting myself down next to a couple, making out on a couch, I watch you stride over to a girl and begin a conversation, one which will only end with you in tears. So, remind me again, why am I here? What is the point of this? I look around, my eyes lingering on a couple of red cups, a sense of curiosity striking me. I'd never drank before and I didn't plan on doing so any time soon either.

I pull my eyes away from his and glance back at you. For a while now, I had been staring at someone who seemed to have been staring right back at me too. Correction, I was gazing at him. No amount of distance could ever mask those piercing dark eyes. I stand up, ready to walk over to him but the nerves take control of every blood vessel in my body and send them wild.

It's too much.
