I think it's ok if the world ends. Well, if my world is allowed to end so abruptly then why isn't everyone else's? I know I sound like a five-year-old but frankly, it's just not fair.
I tilt my head to the side, oblivious to your somewhat-of-a-movement. To be honest, I didn't care. It was a huge improvement, yes, but the nurse will only look at you and then say that it was just a reaction or something; it was just false hope. You were just false.
Maybe yesterday was too much. Maybe I shouldn't have allowed you to drink the entire bottle. You'd said it would help you let go and I blindly agreed. Then I watched you. Endless gulps of intoxication were the right wrong for you.
Everything was for you.
And yet, you were slowly withering away, bite-by-bite.
