I found myself reluctantly stroking the dead bone matter. The tyrannosaurus rex was quite larger than I had expected it to be. I searched for you until I found your figure amongst the world of nature. The way in which you gasped at a butterfly, landing ever so elegantly onto your shoulder, made me wonder why you were so lonely. How could someone so majestic be such an outcast?
I walked up to you and wrapped my arms around you, pulling you into one of my perished hugs. I didn't want you to be alone. I had only caught you by surprise but I felt you gently relax into my arms, as you wrapped your own around me. For once, I was safe, I was me, I was complete. People were staring, I know, but I didn't care one bit because I was with you.
I was home.
