Mike and El were standing on the porch of the cabin. He was leaving after spending the whole evening with her.

'When will Hopper be back from work?' he asked.

'5:30.' she said.

'So we have 10 minutes, till he shows up?'

'Yes.' she confirmed. 'Mike?' she added after a couple of seconds.

'Yeah?'

'Will you... come here tomorrow?'

'Of course I will.' he assured her.

'3:15?' she asked with a hopeful smile.

'3-1-5?' he asked, making her chuckle. 'Actually, no. This is the last week of school so I can show up here a little earlier, let's say... by 1:30?'

Her eyes lit up with happiness.

'Promise?' she asked, looking at him in anticipation.

'Promise.' he said and smiled a little when she released a soft sigh of relief. 'Come here.' he added, pulling her closer.

El stood up on her tiptoes, putting her hands on his chest as Mike wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her even closer to him. Their eyes locked. She looked at him solemnly as he gave her a shy smile before leaning a little forward.

Finn tilted his head, kissing her softly, their lips moving slowly against each other as he placed his fingers on her hips. A few seconds later he felt her lips curving into a smile against his. He didn't want to get out of character, but he was sure that she shouldn't smile into the kiss in this scene. Actually, they were supposed to kiss, say goodbye and that's it.

Three seconds later he definitely knew she shouldn't giggle.

And he couldn't help but smile, feeling her laugh against his mouth. He pulled away slowly and looked down at her, raising his eyebrow.

'What?' Finn asked, wanting to know what was so funny to make her get out of character. He was still smiling though and it made her giggle even more. She didn't answer him so he lifted his hand to playfully poke her nose, which made her wrinkle it at the touch. He laughed at the funny expression on her face.

She looked so adorable that he couldn't stop himself from doing it again.

'Hey!' she swatted his hand away, trying to poke his nose in revenge, but he leaned back quickly, still laughing.

They totally were lost in the moment, forgetting they were on the set, that a lot of people were there, that the cameras were still rolling.

As if they were in their own world with nothing else around, but just the two of them.

Shawn opened his mouth to yell 'Cut!', but something stopped him. They looked so happy and genuine he didn't want to interrupt them.

It was... interesting to say the least.

Shawn looked at the Duffers and they agreed that it wouldn't hurt to wait a little more.

.

a couple months later

It was a few weeks till the premiere. They finished filming a couple of months ago. The whole crew was invited to watch the first episode of new season.

Kids sat at the back of the theatre, waiting in anticipation to see the result of their work. The first episode seemed to be perfect so far. It was funny, exciting and thrilling at the same time and they just couldn't wait to watch the rest of the season.

There was a few minutes left till the end of the episode. The scene with Mike and El saying goodbye at the cabin finally showed up on the screen.

'3:15?'

'3-1-5? Actually, no. This is the last week of school so I can show up here a little earlier, let's say... by 1:30?'

'Promise?'

'Promise.'

Millie was watching as Mike leaned in to kiss El. Her breath hitched in her throat when she noticed that El smiled into the kiss.

Millie glanced quickly to her right. Finn was sitting next to her with his mouth open, his eyes widened as he watched their scene. Her eyes landed back on the screen, watching Mike pulling away from El, raising his eyebrow.

'What?' Mike asked with a confused smile. El didn't say anything, giggling even more at his reaction.

He raised his hand and playfully poked her nose.

'Hey!' she said, swatting his hand away when he lifted it to do it again. They both laughed when she wanted to poke his nose in revenge, but failed when he quickly leaned back. She pouted her lips so he gathered her back in his arms and let her poke his nose, trying to appease her. She looked up at him with eyes sparkling with happiness, still giggling.

Okay, what was that?

She kept repeating in interviews that this is just acting. Now, when she saw her and Finn with her own eyes... Well, now she knew why nobody ever believed her.

It's just acting.

Yeah, right.

They were both out of character at that moment, they both knew it. These whole giggling and nose poking weren't in the script. Millie hasn't realized until now that Eleven was looking at Mike... No, who was she kidding? That wasn't Eleven.

That was Millie in Eleven's clothes.

And that Millie was looking at Finn with so much warmth, with so much affection, with so much... love. Oops.

She felt so stupid.

Was she really that obvious? She thought that she was better at hiding her feelings, actually she was doing a good job so far. And now she ruined it all in one moment.

But when her eyes landed on Mike... Well, he mirrored her look.

His eyes were squinted with joy and he was smiling so wide, but...

Was it Mike? Or Finn?

Then their scene went on as planned in the script, shot from a different, zoomed out angle. Mike and El said goodbye and after one last kiss placed on her lips, he got on his bike and rode away. She was standing on the porch, watching him till he got out of sight. Then the next scene appeared on the screen, set in Byers' house.

Millie couldn't believe what she saw just a couple seconds ago. She leaned to her right.

'Finn!' she whisper yelled to him.

'Yeah, I saw that.' he said, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

'They used this screwed up take!'

'Mills, I've noticed.' he said with exasperation, a little too loud.

'Shhh!' Gaten shushed them.

Millie looked around. Everybody was watching the next scene and nobody was whispering or looking at them. It seemed like maybe none of them even noticed that their scene wasn't planned at all. She looked back at Finn.

'We have to talk to Shawn.' she whispered.

'Definitely.'
