Chapter 7: A great plan

My life changed allot. starting from the moment I let Derek Hale in my life. My head feels like it's gonna explode.my mind and my body don't feel like they are in contact anymore. My mind says run yet my body seems to stay.

 It's like everything I know just changed. Werewolves exist and so do monsters.

What do I tell Madison when she's scared of the monster in her closet? that's it not there? she won't believe me. not after what happened 4 day's ago. 

I have been ignoring Derek for the last couple of days. actually, I've been ignoring everyone for the last couple of days.

Everything goes by in a haze, school, taking care of Madison. I can't even focus on my book anymore. which annoys me the most.

"melody?" my mother asked

"yeah ? " I answered 

"are you okay? you haven't been yourself lately" She said 

"yeah, I'm just distracted " 

"is it because of that boy? " she asked 

"no, well yes. but no" I answered

"can I help you with anything? " 

"nope" I said. 

"well call me if you need anything" she said and left. 

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, and saw my sister zoey's head pop around the corner

"is she gone? "she whispered 

"yeah" I said "whats up?" 

"okay go go go" she said and pushed a boy out . I laughed

"since when do you have a boyfriend?" I asked her

"5 minutes ago "she said with the biggest smile on her face "but we need to talk" she took place next to me on the couch

"about?" I asked

"the boy I keep seeing slipping in and out of your room" she said casually

"Don't tell mom" I immediately said

"relax you can trust me" She said " But if you say anything about that boy I just smuggled out ill tell her" 

"of course" I said. and she stood up again 

"oh and Melody" she said right before she walked away "He's cute" 

wait is everyone that is cute a werewolf? okay Melody you have got to stop thinking this is Twilight

I sighted. I have to do homework. I looked over at the clock. Derek is usually gone at this time of the day. So I guess it's safe to go upstairs.

I slowly walked up the stairs and opened my door.

Fucking great Derek AND Peter are here. now I can't do my homework without them trying to talk to me.

I walked past them and grabbed a book from my bookshelf. I pretended to read the back of it and just turned around and walked straight out again. 

but for some reason after I closed the door I didn't walk down the stairs like my plan was. Instead I turned around and put my ear against the cold wood of my door and started listening in on their conversation

"how is she?" I heard Peter ask

"Bad, she hasn't even talked to me in day's" Derek responded

"well, she did just found out that your a killer dog" Peter said
