Chapter 2: Cerise

"How romantic" She said and started walking towards us "The boyfriend tries to protect his girlfriend"

"Leave" Derek said sounding bored, yet he still had his arm wrapped tightly around my waist.

"No" She said smirking.

She doesn't realize that he's a werewolf.

"Get back" Derek whispered in my ear. And I gladly took a step back.

What? I don't want to be between 2 fighting werewolves.

"what are you gonna do human?" She said mockingly to Derek

"Turn into a werewolf" He replied and let out a growl. By the looks on her face she didn't expect that to happen. She took a step back and she looked terrified.

"I didn't know..." She said in a apologizing tone "I'm so sorry"

"what's your name?" I asked her

"Cerise" She answered "What's yours?" 

" Melody" I answered "and this is Derek"

"Where is your pack?" Derek immediately asked.

"I don't have one" She said and looked down shyly "I'm an Omega"

"are you searching for an pack?" Derek asked her.

"Yes" She said "Can I join yours?"

"Its not that easy, But I can let you meet our Alfa " He replied kindly. she nodded excitedly Derek turned around to me and said "Call Scott. Ask him if he wants to help an Omega"

I got my phone out of my pocket and searched through my phone book. I managed to find him pretty fast and called him. It only went over like 4 times until I heard him pick up

"Hello?"  He said sounding tired

"Hey Scott, It's Melody I have a question" I said and looked over at Cerise. She was talking to Derek about something and touched his arm.

is that bitch flirting with my boyfriend?

"Melody? Are you still there?" I heard Scott asked worriedly.

"Yeah, yeah ..." I quickly replied not taking my eyes off Cerise and Derek " Listen Derek and I came across a Omega, Are you interested in meeting her?" 

It went quiet on the other side like he was debating what to do "Yeah sure, Bring her here and i'll talk to her" 

"great" I said with a sarcastic undertone only I got " We'll see you soon then" 

I put off my phone and walked over to them, Making sure that I stood close to Derek.

"He's interested" I said with a kind smile.

"Great" She said with a big smile on her face.

"Just give me one second to pack everything" I said and went back to packing

I couldn't help but look over my shoulder to Derek and Cerise at least 5 times. She kept on rubbing his arm and smiling allot. I was about to go crazy girlfriend mode until I realized I was done packing.

"I'm done" I said and they both looked over.

"Great" Derek said with a smile and grabbed the bag "Let's go"

We started walking back in the direction of Derek's car.

"don't you have a family here?" I asked Cerise "Beacon Hills isn't really anywhere close to here"

"No" She said " I've been an orphan all my life" 

She started walking faster and caught up to Derek. She started talking to him about some werewolf stuff that I couldn't hear because I was so angry.
