Chapter 14: A promise to remember

Hellooo, 

I want to thank all of you for the last 2 months that has been absolutely AWESOME because of you guys! Thank you for giving me the strength to get up and go to school knowing that the sooner I do it the sooner i'll be back behind my laptop writing :)

What happened to the times I was surprised by reaching chapter 9 xD

 "Got everything?" Derek asked with a sad expression on his face. I walked over to him and put his head between my hands

"I'm going to live with my parents, I'm not dying" I said and smiled at him.

"I meant it when I love seeing your morning face" He replied.

"My morning face is cranky" I said confused "I threw a pillow at you a few days ago because you annoyed me so much"

"I'm a Alfa, I can take it" He said and passionately kissed my lips. 

"Stop making those gross noises" Madison said "It's time to go" 

I pulled back and gave him an apologizing smile. He gave me a note and walked off carrying my bags to my car. On the note it said 'Don't read, until you're home'  I put it in my pocked and grabbed Madison's hand.

"Let's go" I said and walked out.

"I missed you two so much" My mom said and hugged Madison after awkwardly hugging me. The rest of our family, meaning all my siblings, looked at me with a apologizing smiles. 

"Yeah it's just wonderful to be back" I replied and rolled my eyes. She looked so desperate like she always does when she's pregnant. She doesn't know the first thing about babies. I think it's a goddamn miracle that my older brother is still alive.

"And I wanted to apologize to you" She said and walked over to Derek.

"for what?" He asked confused.

"supporting my ex-husband while I should have supported my daughter, You were only looking after her. Something I should have done" She said.

"already forgotten" He said brushing it off. I know Derek hates my mom. Probably because I do to. But I'm happy that he's at least polite to her. Since she is still my mom and I still depend on her for many things. Sadly.

"Well, You can get settled in in your old rooms" she said and clapped her hands together. 

I walked upstairs followed by Madison and saw that Derek was trying to sneak out.

"Derek" I said and saw him sigh and turn around "Remember? I'm not capable of carrying my own bags"

He smiled and rolled his eyes at me. He grabbed my bags and followed us up to our rooms. He put down Madison's bags and she carried them inside. I entered my room and immediately turned back around, biting my lip.
