Chapter 4: Hormonal Teenager

"It'a good plan" Derek said "She'll be fine"

"Yeah because sending my sister in a building filled with homicidal werewolves is a really waterproof plan" I responded sarcastically and started walking around Derek's living room.

"They are not gonna kill her" Derek said and stood up from the couch he was sitting on.

"Yeah because you can see into the future" I said and rolled my eyes at him. He wrapped his arms around me.

dammit. He knows my weaknesses.

"She'll be fine" He whispered and brought his face close to mine.

"Stop taking benefit of my teenage hormones" I whispered back and kissed him. 

"Come" He said and pulled me to his bed. I was kinda doubting if I should actually go on his bed but Derek decided not to give me a choice and grabbed my waist.

He laid on top of me and started kissing me. First on my lips but he then started to kiss my neck. 

"Melody" Derek asked and stopped kissing my neck " Again you don't have to"

"If you ask me that one more time I'm going all psycho girlfriend mode" I said and crashed my lips into his. He kissed me back at first but then pulled away and took off his shirt. And like always I got distracted by his abs

"Done staring?" He asked smirking 

"Sorry" I mumbled and took off my shirt. This time he stared at me.

"Done staring? " I asked imitating him.. He rolled his eyes at me and kissed me again but suddenly pulled back.

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. He got up from the bed and looked the door. "Derek?" 

He didn't respond and kept staring at the door "Everything alright?"  I asked again. 

The door opened and I saw a man walk in followed by two others. the man looked at Derek and then at me. When he saw me he got a stupid smirk on his face.

"I hope we didn't interrupt anything?"  He asked laughing.

"we're used to it" I said " Trust me"

"Who are you?" Derek asked while I put on my shirt.

"Anthony Young" He responded with a kind smile "I've been told that you are Derek Hale?"

"you've been told correctly" Derek said "What do you want?" 

"A simple conversation" He responded "So I can explain myself"

"Who are they?" Derek asked looking at the other two 

"Michael and Graham, My most trusted advisers"  He said. "Who is she?"

I looked at them. One of them was way older then the other one, probably around 60 years old. He looked like a wise man with a conscience. The other one looked more reckless. He was also way younger, Probably around 20.

"this is Melody" Derek said pointing at me "My most trusted advisor" 

aww I'm his advisor? 

"Yeah we saw the trusted part" The younger one said and Derek let out a growl. 

"I don't mean to be rude... but she doesn't look like a werewolf" The older one said.

"I didn't knew that being a werewolf was something I should be to become a advisor" I replied.

"No you just need to fuck the alfa" The younger one said mockingly.

"Yeah, i'm guessing you know everything about that?" I replied copying his tone. 

"I like her" The younger one said to Anthony "she's feisty"

"We're not here to find you a girlfriend Michael" Anthony said.

"Even if it you were, she won't be it" Derek said sounding very annoyed. 

this is karma for the time with Cerise.

"Okay back to the subject" Anthony said "I think you've heard Robert's side of the story. But before you make your decision I want to say our side"

"what decision?" Derek asked "We are staying out of this. This is your war, not ours"

"Because people will get in the crossfire, They always do" Anthony said "If you back up one side the other one will go down faster"

"Have you tried talking about your feelings?" I asked mockingly "You know, get everything out on the table" 

what? You don't expect me to actually buy this bullshit. They just want to kill each other off so they are left stronger. 

"I'm afraid there is no talking sense into Robert" Anthony said and let out a sigh "he's not the man he used to be"

"I met Robert" I replied and crossed my arms "he seems to be a pretty sensible man to me"

"You are pretty confident for a human in a room with werewolves" Michael said "Have you ever even killed someone?"

"No" I said "But I made someone get reborn, and I could do it again. Does that count?"

okay that last part might have been a lie.

"You can tell us your story, but we'll not tell you immediately which side we're gonna choose" Derek said "That's something we discuss with the pack first" 

"Of course" Anthony answered 

"Robert and I used to be in the same pack. One day he decided that he was done being just an Beta and wanted to be a Alfa. He killed our alfa in his sleep, and became the new alfa. With me being his advisor. Our pack didn't had a territory, because Robert wanted to find allies first. So we followed him until one day we found a pack with a alfa. It was just like any other pack so we all expected that he would just go talk to them and that we would be on our way in no time.

But we were wrong, Robert had seen the alfa's wife and was determined to steal her away from him. Of course the girl didn't want to be with him. But Robert had already declared war with her pack. And he was determent not to lose his first war ever.

He refused to listen to my advise and attacked them. He killed everyone in the pack including the girl because he got tired of her. By the time I got there most of them had already bleed out. But not the alfa, He still had his last few minutes. And in those minutes he asked me to kill him and avenge him.

I made his death quick so he wouldn't have to look at his dead pack members anymore" He said finishing his story.

It went quiet for a while I saw that Derek was in deep thought so I figured I would say my mind about it.

"So to avenge his death your killing more innocent pack members?" I said "That sounds so logical"

"It's just crossfire" Michael said.

"Okay so if I would kill you now and say that it's just an act of war you're also just crossfire" I replied.

"We are trying to keep the other pack members out of it for as much as we can" Graham said "But they blindly follow Robert" 

"I still think you should just talk it out" I said and sat down on Derek's bed "Less people will die if you guys just talk it out"

"actually its a normal thing to do just before two packs declare war" Derek said and looked at Anthony "Are you up for it?"

"Only if one of your pack members will lead the discussion then yes" He replied.

"That's a deal then" Derek said "Meet us tomorrow at 12 o'clock at the old Hale mansion. You can't bring any advisers and if we find out that you have any pack members nearby the house... Well let's just say that Melody here is gonna make sure they get reborn" 

I laughed at his comment and saw that the young guy actually looked pretty scared.

"Then we'll meet you tomorrow" Anthony said and they walked out.
