Book 3: Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Selective hearing

"So what do you want to do?" Derek asked after a while 

"I want to do normal teenager stuff" I said and laid down my head on his chest.

"Does that involve me and you... Well let's just say in bed?" He asked hinting.

"I just found out my 15 year old sister is pregnant" I said  "You're not getting laid anytime soon" I got up and grinned at him. He pouted and also stood up, He pulled me closer to him and started kissing me.

"Derek"  I said rolling my eyes "what did I just say?" 

"I don't know" He said and laid me down on his bed "I have very selective hearing."

"Not gonna happen" I said and tried getting out of his grip.

"What was that? I'm sorry I couldn't quite hear it" He said and kissed me again. I rolled my eyes at him but kissed him back. His hand traveled down to my pants and he started taking them off. But I stopped  him.

He stopped kissing me and I had to laugh at his disappointed face. He got off me and walked over to the couch. I also walked to the couch and sat next to him. 

"Hey Melody?" Derek suddenly said "Do you want to go on a date with me?"

"What?" I asked half confused half smiling.

"We never actually did the whole date thing" Derek said and laid his hand on my leg "Except for the time with your mother... and we all know how that ended"

"I would love to go on a date with you" I said and gave him a small kiss on the lips. But after I pulled back he immediately kissed me more passionately. I kissed him back and things got more... heated. 

He laid me on my back and started kissing my neck.

this is a good idea right? I mean what could go wrong? There is absolutely no reason why I shouldn't be doing this right?

He unbuttoned my pants and I quickly took off my shirt and he groaned. He kissed my lips hungrily and then trialed down to my neck. I let out a soft moan and felt his lip curl up in a smile.

PREGNANT SISTER. PREGNANT SISTER. PREGNANT SISTER.

I pushed ghim away and sat up straight.

"what's wrong?" Derek asked. I grabbed my shirt and quickly put it on.

"sorry" I said with a half smile. he looked confused and putted his arm around me. 

"are you okay?" He asked. I nodded and bit my lip.

"Just still a little bit in shock because of Zoey" I said quietly. 

"Yeah, About that" he said and paused "I agree with kicking the fathers ass" 

I laughed and leaned my head on his chest. "If I would've been home maybe this wouldn't have happened"

"Don't think like that" Derek said softly and put my hair behind my ear. 

 "Do you think I should go to my grandma?" I asked after a while "you know so she can tell me more about it"

"About what?" He asked confused.

"Orbis stuff" I answered.

"Do you want me to come too?" He asked.

"My grandma hates werewolves" I said. I looked at Derek and saw that he looked pretty insulted.

"what? why?" He asked confused "We're awesome"

"Yeah except for the psychopathic killing ones" I said laughing and gave him a small kiss on his lips "I'l go see her tomorrow after school"
