I stare at my mom with a worried expression. I checked her temperature and it felt normal, but I'm not sure if she was.

"Are you serious?"I asked. My voice was below a whisper as I remembered who the God Ra is.

"Aren't Egyptian Gods not supposed to have children with humans? Stop joking mom."I said.

She sighed. "Honey, he wanted to continue his bloodline. Well, not blood but you know what I mean."she said.

I didn't look surprised. "He was dying."she said.

I shook my head. "How can a god die, mom? This is just some crazy fantasy bullshit." I said.

She pointed her finger at me. "Watch your language, young lady."she said sternly.

I sat down on the couch and my mother watched me. We stayed there longer than normal, staring.

I finally broke the chilling silence. "So what does that make me? And what are you really?"I ask.

She stood and shifted her weight to her left leg.

"You can still feel pain and emotions, but You are immortal. I am a magician that is a quarter strong as a god. We are the eye of gods."she said.

I threw my hands into the air and screamed out,"Enough of this nonsense, mom!"

She flinched and turned away.

"We should have told you when you were 18. You could have handled it then. But,"she looked at me sadly,"a war is about to begin."She said.

I stood up and went into my room. "Good night mom."I said and slammed the door close.

Was one of the symptoms of getting better was being a complete nut job? I closed my eyes.

As I drifted to sleep, I wandered through a foggy haze with voices whispering in different languages around me.

I stood moving forward and came upon a man with his legs crossed. Not man, but a demon.

His eyes opened to reveal them the color of blood. He smiled and his yellow teeth had specks of blood on it.

He looked monstrous. He grimaced to a mob of demons that looked as gruesome as him. They contained weapons such as axes and machine guns.

They stood ready and waiting. "This, is my army against you puny humans and magicians. You will either bow down, or die."the demon said in the coldest and oldest voice I've ever heard.

He swiped out to grab me but I awoke before he could reach out his finger.

I sat on my bed, gasping. My mother sat on a chair opposite my bed and crossed her legs.

"What did you see?"she asked. I told her everything and her eyes narrowed.

"We need to train you. I will not say his name but he has been building an army for the last 2 years. He plans to destroy man kind in 5 months. We have to train you immediately."She said sadly.

I rubbed my eyes to get the sleepiness out. "When do we start?"I ask. She snapped her fingers.

"Now."she said.

I fell through darkness and landed my butt on a hard surface. "Oww!"I said.

My mother was in front of me wearing linen clothing and so was I. The clothing was thin and I tugged it lightly.

"You will have to suffer more than just hitting your butt. Stand up."she said.

I stood up and looked around. We were in a large room with weapons all over the walls.

My mother regained my attention by throwing a wooden staff at me.

I caught it and my jaw dropped. "Seriously? Can't I wake up first?"I asked.

My mother rolled her eyes. "Stop whining."She said.

I stopped. "We will begin your training by using your instincts. Now, fight me the best you can."She said.

I hit her with the staff and tried to block her hit but it smacked me across the face, sending me falling backwards.

I stood up and rubbed my cheek. "Use all your hatred to fight your opponent, but also your love for the things you want to protect."she said.

I used it and it worked well. I whacked her back with newly strength, ran with a different and faster pace and jumped away with impossible distance.

I changed slowly as we fought, becoming stronger. All the energy and anger I've been holding in spilled out like an overflowing sink.

I couldn't stop it.

As we finished I was bright and active. My mother was tired and sweaty.

We went to the water fountain to drink some water.

"You've done well for your first training session. Maybe I'll invite Malcolm to help you train..."she said lost in thought.

I walked to the swords and touched a bended figure that looked odd. A description on top of it said it was a 'khopesh'.

I wandered around and played with the swords until I found the most beautiful and shining khopesh.

It was embedded with gemstones and shined like liquid gold. I picked it up. It felt weightless.

I swished it around and laughed.
