"Hello, Chike." Thoth said as soon as I opened my eyes. Looking around, my throats parched, he handed me a glass of something red. Memories started piling up like old forgotten junk, and I just stared at him, heaving a deep sigh and pulling back tears. "It's alright to cry." He murmured. "No, it isn't. I've lost my child...because of my selfishness and hate." I said, my voice cracking.

I looked away, biting my lip. "You loved him, didn't you?" He asks quietly. "Kind of. He never meant to be...evil. He was just born unwillingly into it. If he had a choice...he would've been fighting with us. Ruling with us." I said.

"It was his own choice, Chike. You must understand that." He said. "I do!" I said rather loudly. He threw his hands in the air, letting his head hang low. "Fine." He muttered. "The child was taken from your body. It grew faster than a normal being of sperm." He said, disgust in his voice.

"What did you do to him?" I ask. "We killed it. How did you know it was a him?" He asks before I growl loudly, wrapping a hand around his throat and slamming him against the floor. My eyes turned dark red, and my teeth elongated to razor sharp fangs. "How dare you?!" I nearly screech.

"You took the pill. You didn't want the child. What made you change your mind? Aphraim? I can feel his power surging through you." He noted, not fazed that I was about to squeeze the life out of him. "Take me to him." I demanded. He rubbed his throat before walking out of the door, leading me down a series of hallways and rooms to which a small coffin lay. Tears welled in my eyes as he opened it, my child inside it wrapped in sheets.

He was beautiful, even dead. I caressed his still-flushed cheek, my tears falling on his forehead. "I want him alive." I said, more like pleaded. "It can't be. He'll just be like his father-" "Not if I control him, teach him! I don't care about your opinion....I'm letting my child live." I said determinedly.

I began chanting a spell, slitting my wrists and opening his mouth to give him my blood. "The Spell of Reincarnation..." Anubis muttered, horrorstruck next to Bast. "Child no!" Bast yelled, reaching out to stop me. "Let the girl do as she pleases. She can easily disperse of him if he gets too out of hand!" Neith said. Not taking my eyes away from my child, I began to hear his small wails.

Lifting him slowly into my arms, I cradled him to my chest. "I love you..." I whispered. He laughed lightly, tugging on locks of my hair.

From that moment on, I would forever stay and protect my child. My son. My love. My life. My Raphaim.
