⚠️⚠️TRIGGER WARNINGS!!   this talks about cuts/scars, suicide, and attempted rape... if you are sensitive about that i recommend not to read. where it's talking about the suicide or the attempted rape i will but a warning before it.
TRIGGER WARNINGS!!⚠️⚠️

"FIRE FIRE FIRE" i screamed into the phone, running out of my house, my dog in my arms.

"can you tell me exactly what's happening??" the operator said before i heard a piercing scream from the house.

"mom...." i said in a voice quieter than a whisper, i turned around to see my mom crushed under a big piece of wood "mama!!" i screamed, i set down my dog and ran over to her, lifting the wood enough were she could crawl out, she made it over to where the dog was while i was helping the baby's out of the house.

"stay here!" i heard my dad yell at me, he was sitting beside my mom and looking at me. but i didn't listen i ran back into the house and helped my oldest sister out of the house, she was coughing bad. i noticed my little sister laying on the ground unconscious and quickly ran over to her and picked her up.

i ran her outside and later her down by my dad before saying "try to regain her conscious!" and ran back into the house looking for my twin sister. i found her stuck between two big pieces of wood and surrounded by fire. i didn't care though and sprinted right to it, and shoved the dressers away from her.

"Please.... *cough* just go *wheeze*"

"no i'm not leaving you behind!!" i quickly picked her up and ran through the fire keeping her face covered with my shirt. i got outside and laid her down on the ground seeing firetrucks in our driveway. i looked at everyone and realized that my nephew was nowhere to be found.

"hey kid stay out here, we've got this." i heard a unknown mans voice say, but i didn't care and sprinted back into the house.

"LANCE!!" i heard my dad scream after me "NO COME BACK!!"

but i didn't listen, i kept running, i ran up the stairs and into my little brothers room, seeing my nephew in the arms of my aunt, who was unconscious on the ground. tears fell from my eyes as i pulled him from my aunts arms. he started screaming and kicking around. i shook my aunt and dumbed some drink onto her face, she woke up, but i knew she wasn't strong enough to walk on her own. so with my nephew in my arm i helped her to her feet and carefully brought her downstairs, finding ways to not go through the fire knowing she wouldn't be strong enough to run through it.. we got outside and i laid her down, and handed dad her baby.

"i'm sorry i didn't-," i managed to choke out before hearing crying coming from the house, ".....no...." i turned around "lily...." i sprinted back into the house and to my little sisters room, where my niece lily was laying on the bed, her knees to her chest as fire moved closer to her. i jumped onto the bed and picked her up, pulling her close to my chest. "shhhh it's ok..." i stood up and turned back around jumping through the fire, i was coughing bad and my legs hurt super bad, my vision was getting blurry but i wasn't going to stop until she was safe. i fought back all the thoughts of just collapsing and kept running.

when i finally got outside i gave lily to my mom, who was know sitting up with loren, my twin, who was also doing better, before my vision turned black and i could feel no more pain.

i woke up in a bed, a room i didn't recognize. i looked around and saw my dad sitting beside me, "where am i." i demanded sitting up.

"lay down!" my dad said standing up.

"no! not until you tell me where i am and tell me how everyone is!" he growled before sitting back down.
