Keiths pov~
we had just finished a mission- everyone was on one of the planets that looked similar to earth, but was still very different.

we were all camping out in a cave type thing, pidge and hunk were talking about some science shit, and lance and allura were talking- as in lance was flirting with allura.

i was sat alone, my back rested agains the wall of the cave. the others were down on earth, making a knew castle of lions. "Lonce can you just stop? i'm gunna go talk to hunk and pidge..." allura walked away from him, shaking her head.

lance just frowned, before he walked out of the cave. i followed him with my eyes, until he was out of my sight.

it was dark, and i lost track of him quickly. i had a weird feeling about him being alone though.... "if he doesn't come back in 20 minutes i'll go looking for him...." i whispered to myself, nodding my head.

i knew that the others wouldn't notice me leave, me being the quiet person i am- "hey keith!" pidge called over at me, motioning for me to go over there, so i did. "i have a plan for the lion hanger... but i want to get your thoughts on it before i give it to shiro... he's waiting.."

i took the "paper" from her, and looked it over. all the lions were gunna have their own room type thing, i liked the idea a lot, mostly because all of the lions would be together, it would just be easier. i smiled and handed it to her "yea i like it- mostly because now all the lions will be closer to us, and each other. anyways- is that all you needed me for?"

"no i actually wanted you to look over a couple of other things."

"umm.. yea ok."

time skip~ 1 hour later.

i checked the time on my phone(they all now have one) and realized that lance hadn't come back yet, i was still looking over stuff with pidge, but quickly set down what i was holding. accidentally slamming it down on the table, startling everyone. i whipped around and scanned the room, making sure lance really wasn't back. he wasn't. i was too focused on that, to realize that allura was nowhere to be found.

"keith?" pidge asked for the fifth time, setting her hand on my shoulder, knocking me out of my thoughts "keith what's-?"

"i'll be back." i cut her off, and ripped out of her hold, "all of you stay here, but keep your helmets on just in case." i growled before leaving, i had a really bad feeling, he's been gone for over an hour- nobody expected me even noticed.

i searched around for a while, lances helmet in my hand. i walked around for a while before stumbling across a body of "water"- seeing lance sitting near by, on a little hill thing.

but that's not all i noticed... no i noticed someone sneaking up behind him, something in their hand. "lance..." i whispered out, getting closer and hoping he would hear me. as i got closer- i was able to see what they were holding- a fuckin grenade.. "lance" i said louder, but still not catching his attention.

i turned on my mic, moving closer. i watched as the figure behind him lift the grenade and throw it to the ground, "LANCE!" i screamed, jumping in the way of the explosion. i had dropped his helmet when i screamed.

Lances pov~

i was thrown off the little hill i was sitting on with great force, i had heard someone scream but i couldn't tell who it was. i scanned my eyes across the area, finding my helmet set a while away.
