"Mr Min? You're late." Mr Cheong mutters from his desk, his eyes still concentrating on his book. He doesn't bother to lift his gaze to meet with the poor boy who had been busy, sneaking in at the back of class.
Students snicker at Taehyung while he rises from his crouched position, shamefully walking to his desk. "Detention Mr Min, you know where." The brunette sighs but doesn't complain. After all, it's his own fault in the first place for being late. Class went by without another issue, thankfully for Taehyung.
Interval soon came and Taehyung was quick to head straight for the gymnasium. Every spare second he had in school, he would use it to go watch Jungkook. He knew if he ever told anyone that, that they would look at him like he's some creepy freak.
A group of fangirls were squealing while gawking down at the mousy brunette who's currently running around the gym, dribbling a soccer ball between his feet before passing it to another player. This was normal for crowds of girls to form whenever the younger is playing.
Taehyung hides behind the small wall beside the entrance doors that were left wide open to the balcony area. He bites down on his lower lip, staring at the others who were there for Jungkook.
Truth is, they're all 'populars.' People who are seen as high class; royalty. While Taehyung... "Hey ugly!" A voice behind bellows, shoving Taehyung out into the open. All eyes instantly snap to the hideous looking boy. Their gazes roaming over his awful fashion sense, his overgrowing eyebrows, his untamed shaggy hair, his oversized glasses and his acne covered face.
"Eww! Why is he here?" One of the girls whispered rather loudly. Taehyung panics, suddenly being thrown out into the lions cage; specifically, the popular's crowd.
Taehyung was in full alert now as he frantically stares at all the faces cornering him. He knew the commotion was gaining attention from others, even Jungkook.
"Alright! If you aren't on the team, get the hell out of here!" Coach Lee shouts up at the crowd of teens. Everyone groans, sending Taehyung death glares for getting them kicked out. "Thanks a lot freak!" A girl hisses while pushing past. "We don't need someone as ugly as you here!" Some guy growls, shoving the boy with the wild chocolate hair to the ground.
Taehyung accidentally drops some of his books he had in his grasp. He fell to his knees in embarrassment as people dissolve away from him. No one helped him, well except for one person. "Hey, I think this is yours." Someone vocalises, picking up the notebook that had a marble cover with the name; Min Taehyung written across it.
The brunette glances up through the lens of his glasses, staring at the beautiful creature in front of him. His orbs widen when he takes in the perfect view of the purple haired boy that towers above him. Taehyung couldn't help but gawk at the boy's clothes, how they fitted his tall figure so well while his facial features seemed almost capturing, like he could stare at him for hours.
The boy tilts his head to the side, letting out a soft 'hmm' as in a way of asking 'what's the matter?' to the brunette. He continues to hold out the notebook for the younger to take but soon realises that Taehyung seems to be struggling to function properly. "Uhh...here." He grabs Taehyung's hand and places the small notebook into it.
The junior snaps back to life, blinking multiple times as the boy smiles at him. "Your Tae-suk right?" He questions, crouching down so that he's at the same eye level as the brunette now. Taehyung sat there stupidly, his brain taking longer than usual to absorb the older's words. "Uhh, no it's actually Taehyung." He murmurs quietly, getting up from the ground and slowly beginning to creep away, humiliated.
"Aren't you gonna say thank you?" The lavender haired male shouts, his tone filled with amusement. If Taehyung's cheeks weren't red before, they definitely were now. He spins on his heels, bowing his head quickly while shouting, "thank you very much!"
The senior just smiles, finding Taehyung to be quite a strange yet fascinating being.

Taehyung's day went by as usual. Insults here, pushed into lockers there, nothing unexpected at all.
The school day soon came to an end, meaning that the young junior would have to attend detention. Now this wasn't the first time Taehyung has found himself stuck after school with a sleeping teacher and a few delinquent students.
His feet swiftly take him to the set class with a paper sign saying 'detention' written in bold letters. He sighs, opening the door to find the teacher already clocked out with a book over his face and his legs propped up on the table. Taehyung shakes his head, wondering what was the point in having supervision if they weren't going to fall through with it anyway.
The brunette walks past the teacher's desk, picking up one of the many sheets they would have for students to fill out whenever they have detention. It would ask stupid questions like; 'what did you do?' And 'how can you learn and grow from this problem?'
It was rather stupid in Taehyung's eyes yet he wouldn't dare vocalise his thoughts to any of the teachers, knowing fine well his punishment would only increase.
He takes notice that there is only one other student in the class today. The boy was sat up the very back, sporting a black leather jacket, some ripped light faded jeans and a black tee. Some dark shades were placed over his orbs, blocking out any form of contact Taehyung might have with the other.
The brunette would be lying if he didn't think the other was a bit...intimating. He definitely gave off the vibe not to speak nor go near him. Yet to Taehyung's surprise, the boy raises a hand, beckoning for him to come closer. Taehyung was reluctant at first, not entirely sure if the other was just playing around with him, wanting to make fun of him like most people would.
Still, he finds his feet quietly taking him towards the back of the class where the boy sat, leaning his back against the open window. "Sit." Taehyung obeys like a dog, taking the desk next to the delinquent looking boy.
"You're that kid, right? Uh? Taehyung? The one that everyone picks on?" Taehyung's shoulders deflate at the boy's words. 'Well, I should be used to it by now.' He thought as he nods his head rather slowly. The other smirks, taking off the black shades to reveal his entire face. "Jung Hoseok, junior." He introduces himself with a head tilt. Taehyung had heard of his name before but wasn't quite sure why nor where.
"So why're you in detention?" The red haired teen asks, scanning Taehyung's complete appearance before meeting his eyes once again. "Aren't you some kinda nerd or something?"
Taehyung was always asked this question. For some reason he seemed to constantly give off this vibe but the truth is, he was really just a shy person. The dark headed youngster struggled often with being sociably awkwardly, scaring off others like the plague.
"I-uh...n-no," Taehyung whispers, fidgeting with his sleeve. "Hmm," Hoseok hums, nodding once before glancing over at the still sleeping teacher. "Hey Taehyung?" The older catches the younger's attention. "How about we go for a little walk?" He suggests with a smirk.
