Chapter 6

"Never again!" Taehyung states, his legs shakily wobbling behind Hoseok as they enter inside the mall. The red head glances back, chuckling while he takes the smaller's hand in his, making sure to not lose him.

Hoseok pulls Taehyung in the direction of a smoothie cafe that was on the second floor. The pair use a set of escalators, spotting a crowd of populars. "Pfft, they're everywhere." Hoseok grumbles, returning his gaze back towards the top of the stairs as they await to get there. Taehyung continued to watch, gawking at a certain brunette who was busy laughing with his best friend.

Taehyung felt sadness deep in his chest, how he remembered the fact that he humiliated himself in front of the younger. He bites his lower lip, finally looking away.

Meanwhile, on the bottom floor stood an exhausted Namjoon while Ji-won stood beside him, yammering away on her phone. "I know, oh my God yes!" She continues to screech into the device, causing Namjoon to cringe. He was busy holding onto all of Ji-won's shopping bags, something he always has to do whenever he goes to the mall with her.

"No! You don't say." Her voice echoes, earning a few glances from by-passers. "Well she was a slut anyway." Namjoon couldn't stand when Ji-won gets a phone call. She always spends over an hour just blabbing on and Namjoon is left to wait for the second when Ji-won stops her gossiping.

"Yo! Namjoon!!" A voice hollers out, catching the attention of the vibrant haired boy. He turns to spot a small crowd of familiar populars. One being Jungkook. He peers over at Ji-won before shuffling towards the group. "Hey dude," Jimin grins, slapping a hand onto the taller's shoulder. "Sup," Namjoon mumbles, giving the jock a small nod.

"See you're here with your girl." Jimin chuckles, pointing in the direction where Ji-won still stood, chattering away. Namjoon sighs but nods, not really interested in the conversation. "Oh, did you hear by the way?" The blonde haired male questions, gawking at the taller with mischief eyes. Namjoon raises a brow, wondering what the other might say.

Jimin grabs ahold of Jungkook, who was standing beside him. "Our boy here has a secret admirer...well it's not a secret anymore." He amusingly speaks while Jungkook grumbles, shoving at his best friend to shut up. Namjoon would have to be stupid to not see between the lines. They were obviously talking about Taehyung and his little love note.

The elder felt nothing but pity for Taehyung, especially over the fact that he confessed to none of than Jungkook. Someone who was beyond Taehyung's reach. But then Namjoon recalled earlier, how Taehyung was practically begging him into helping him become a popular. 'It takes a lot to get on the floor and grovel.' Namjoon thought, debating on his choices in helping the junior.

While busy in his own world, Jimin continues to embarrass his best friend. "That ugly nobody really thought he could date someone like him!" Jimin chortles, pointing a thumb to Jungkook who stood with his arms crossed over his chest. "Alright! We get it!" Jungkook mumbles, rolling his eyes. "I already told him that never in a million years would I date him so it doesn't matter."

"It's still funny!" Jimin wheezes, folding over till he's crouched on the ground. Namjoon took note of the reaction the others were having and couldn't help but feel riled up. Sure, if Taehyung was pretty or was loading in cash or even played a sport then none of them would be laughing.

But the reality is, Taehyung isn't any of those things. "Not for long anyway." Namjoon mutters to which Jimin's cackles slowly simmer down till they're nothing but timid giggles. "What?" He questions, making Namjoon snap out of his daydream. "Oh nothing. Nothing at all."

Taehyung sighed for around the 6th time now since they entered the smoothie shop. He was currently sat on one of the high stool chairs with Hoseok across from him. "What's wrong Taebear? Do you not like your smoothie?" The older questions, watching as Taehyung fiddles with his straw that was in a banana smoothie.
