"I don't really think this is a good idea hyung." Taehyung mumbles, being pulled into the fifth clothing store now. His feet were tired and his overgrown fringe was itching his eyes. He kept trying to push it back, attempting to see better but in the end it would just fall back to its original position.
"Relax Taehyung, this is just something we have to do." Namjoon says before going back to the racks where there were clothes hanging from. Eventually, the pair had bag loads of clothes in their grasp. "Now onto the salon." Namjoon announces, moving in the direction of a black and white store. Taehyung trails behind, muttering the words, "salon? What the heck even is a salon?"

Ten minutes in the door and Taehyung is already having a miniature panic attack. "Hyung, I don't like this idea!" He squeals while the pretty lady placed wax around his eyebrow. "Calm down Tae, we're not getting them completely done. Just enough so they don't look like a monkey is growing on your face."
"Well That isn't hurtful at all!" Taehyung snaps back, feeling the strip of waxing paper go over the hot wax. Within seconds it's ripped from his skin, causing him to scream out in pain. "It hurts!" He whines, his slightly reddened lips pouting cutely.
"Quite your whining, it'll be over with soon." Namjoon mutters from the side as he looks through a magazine that was placed on top of the small coffee table in front of him. "Easy for you to say! You're not the one having your eyebrow ripped off!!" Taehyung yelps before another strip of waxing paper is teared from his face.
"Drama queen," Namjoon murmurs under his breath though he catches himself chuckling slightly. Oddly enough, he enjoys the younger's presence. Taehyung was like the little brother he never had.
Once the junior's eyebrows were finished, they moved onto his hair. "Make sure to do a good job on this one." Namjoon says to the hairstylist who simply giggles and nods her head. Taehyung watches in awe. It was so easy for Namjoon to talk to others while Taehyung struggles to even get the word 'hi' out without sounding like a complete moron.
Taehyung sat back in the chair, letting the stylist get to work while Namjoon sat in the heavy chair beside him. "So...so far we've managed to fix your clothes, your eyebrows and hopefully, your hair." He lists off with a grin.
The younger couldn't tell if he was being genuine or an ass about it though he didn't bother to comment. Instead, he sat quietly letting the woman work on his hair. "Next we'll get you contacts so that you don't have to wear those stupid glasses anymore." Namjoon murmurs, snatching the black rimmed spectacles from the younger's face. "Hey! I like my glasses!" Taehyung pouts and Namjoon couldn't help himself again but to stare wide eyed at how pretty Taehyung's eyes look without a pair of oversized glasses shielding them.
The senior clears his throat, glancing elsewhere while Taehyung sat with a small blush creeping up on his cheeks. He wasn't used to giving other's eye contact and whenever he does it seems to make him redden with shyness and embarrassment.
Soon Taehyung is taken away to get his hair dyed. While in the back, Namjoon hums to himself, tapping his hands on his lap in boredom.
"Joonie?! Is that you?!" A squealing voice beckons from the entrance of the salon. The lilic haired boy sighs, knowing exactly who that voice belongs to. Ji-won and Jiae come waltzing over, dressed in their short skirts and crop tops that shows off more skin than necessary. His girlfriend stood in-between her boyfriend's legs, her fingers lacing in his pretty purple locks. Namjoon lightly tugs at the bottom of his Ji-won's top, "isn't this a little short?" He questions to which his girlfriend just scoffs, "it's fashion Namjoon. It's not like I'm showing my ass off or anything like that."
Namjoon just grimace. After all, Ji-won is still his girlfriend and the last thing he would want is any leaching eyes gawking at her like she's a piece of meat. "Anyway, why're you here?" She asks, staring into his orbs. Namjoon knew he couldn't tell the truth, not yet. Not while Taehyung was still in the process of becoming popular so he lied, something he doesn't often do due to hating the guilty feeling that comes with it. "Mom dragged me here, she's in the back." He explains, making Ji-won nod. "I haven't seen your mom in a while, I'll wait till she comes out to say hello." She suggests, causing Namjoon to panic. "Uhh...no! She just got home yesterday and she's feeling really tired right now. How about I invite you round for dinner next week so you can see her then?"
Namjoon's mom often works abroad, meaning she wasn't around often. Thankfully, she did get home yesterday so he wasn't technically lying on that part.
"Well...okay then." Ji-won purses her lips slightly before giving Namjoon a quick kiss. "Well, I'll be going now. Text me later!" She yells as she walks out the door, Jiae behind her.
Namjoon breathed a sigh of relief, glad to get rid of the girls without spotting Taehyung. Just then, the hairdresser came back with a boy behind her. The second Namjoon finally saw Taehyung, his eyes widen to the size of saucers.
"Holy shit!" He gawks at the junior, taking in how his newly dyed grey hair perfectly combines with his tan skin. Taehyung looked just like an angel and Namjoon was surprised how easy it was to turn the so called 'ugly boy' into a walking Greek God.
Despite Taehyung's constant mumblings that he would pay for his things, Namjoon gave over his card, paying for the haircut and such. Taehyung kept looking in a nearby mirror, touching his freshly cut and dyed hair in awe. 'Is that really me?' He wondered, shocked to see how well the colour goes on him.
"Alright, lets go." Namjoon announces, appearing beside the younger again. Taehyung jumps, a tad embarrassed that he was caught staring at himself. But it was the first time he had ever felt good about himself. It was a strange yet heartwarming feeling like he can actually feel happy in his skin.
"Oh...okay." He murmurs, following behind a bustling Namjoon who was on route to collect new contacts for Taehyung.

Once everything was bought, the pair make their way out of the mall and towards Namjoon's car as they pack it up with all the bought outfits for Taehyung. "Now," Namjoon states while getting into the driver's seat. "We can't do anything at the minute to completely get rid of your acne but I know of a great cream that will get rid of them with 2 weeks or so. For now you'll have to wear makeup." He states, causing Taehyung to frown as he cups his acne stained cheeks.
"I'll give you it tomorrow. Do you know how to put makeup on?" The elder questions to which Taehyung simply shakes his head 'no.'
Namjoon sighs, falling back in his chair as he rests his head. "Great." He mumbles before an idea comes to his mind. "You might not be able to do it but I know someone who can." He cheerfully says, confusing the junior.
"I'll text you my address, make sure you're there first thing on Monday morning. Alright?" Taehyung couldn't do anything except nod, letting Namjoon know he's fully paying attention.
