Namjoon was taken back. He did not, for one minute think that the younger would ask for such a thing. "W-what?" He vocalises his bewilderment, knitting his dark brows together in confusion.
Taehyung's voice turns quieter as he whispers out his request again. "Can you help me become a popular?"
The lilic haired senior sighs, "listen Tae-suk-"
"-it's Taehyung." The ugly boy corrects him, trying his hardest not to come across as rude. Namjoon repeats himself, "sorry," he takes a pause. "Taehyung. There's no point in trying to get Jungkook to fall for you. You may as well just move on."
"So is that a no then?" Taehyung shyly asks with sadness laced in his words. Namjoon could feel his heart breaking, watching the younger's face falter while he lowers his head once again. The senior bites his tongue, debating over his choices. 'If I help him, wouldn't that make me a bad person? After all, he's doing this for Jungkook, who clearly stated he wants nothing to do with him.' Namjoon's eyes peer down, staring at a depressed looking Taehyung. 'Still, look how sad he is. I have to do something.'
"I'll think about it." Namjoon announces, causing Taehyung to snap his head up. "Wha-really?!" The brunette was confused, 'what did Namjoon mean by "he'll think about it?" Does that mean it's a no, but he's just trying to let me down nicely?'
"Yeah, now stop yelling." The purple haired male grumbles, cringing at the tone Taehyung just used. The younger quickly gets to his feet, repeatedly saying 'thank you' to the older, who in return sighs. "Look Taehyung, I haven't decided yet whether to help you or not."
Taehyung pauses his small happy dance to gawk at the other, "so when will I know if you will help me or not?"
Namjoon thought about it for a moment before deciding on, "I'll let you know soon enough." And with that, he leaves the younger. He wasn't entirely sure if he was making the right choice by helping Taehyung. After all, it's going to be a lot of work for that kid to achieve the status of a popular. Many, more common students have tried their hand at getting into the elite group yet so many have failed.
'Will this just be another one of those unsuccessful tries?' Namjoon wondered to himself as he shuffles through the hallways. "Jonnie!!!" Someone yells out in front of him. The lilic haired teen instantly recognises the voice to be that of his girlfriend's.
Ji-won approaches him, her brightly coloured lips smacking against his cheek, leaving a perfectly shaped red kiss mark. Namjoon wore a grimace expression as he begins to try and wipe it off. "I've been looking for you everywhere!" The girl pouts, fluttering her lashes which in return, causes Namjoon to notice that she was indeed, wanting something. "What's it now, Ji-won?" He questions, glancing at his sleeve that was now covered in plump red lipstick. "Take me shopping! Please?!" She whines rather loudly.
Namjoon groans but quickly agrees, wanting this unwanted attention to fall away from the pair and the only way to do that is to agree to whatever Ji-won wants.
The brunette girl screeches, throwing her arms around Namjoon as she placing her lips onto his. It takes him a moment before he responds back, deepening the kiss like usual. Though, the couple soon begin having a full on make-out session in the middle of the busy hallway.

Taehyung sat quietly at his desk, attempting to ignore the hushed murmurings going on behind him. His classmates were gossiping among themselves, shooting the young boy grossed out glares. "How could he honestly think for one minute that Jungkook would ever fall for someone like him?" A girl a few seats behind Taehyung, sneers. Her friend nods her head in agreement.
