All morning, Taehyung felt on edge. Jin had told him that Namjoon would be back at school this week so that they could begin the plan.
"Do you have anyone that you're close to?" Jin questions, causing Taehyung to raise a brow yet nod. "Excellent!" Jin cheers, clasping his hands together which makes the younger jump in his seat slightly.
"As childish as it sounds, I want you to act close with your friend. Maybe some physical contact, nothing too extreme like kissing him in front of the student body!" Jin chuckles. Taehyung wasn't quite seeing where the elder was going with this. "Why would I do that?"
"To make Namjoon jealous. He's always been a bit of a 'mine only' kinda guy and if my calculations are right, which they always are then he will get mad and jealous that you're so unaffected by things."
Taehyung wasn't sure if this was the right way to go. Though knowing he didn't particularly have much choice, he nods along with the elder's suggestion. "Namjoon will get annoyed, possibly avoid you or try to get closer but eventually, he'll crack. That's what happened with Ji-" Jin stops himself from mentioning Namjoon's ex-girlfriend, seeing how sad Taehyung was suddenly getting.
"Oh. So that's how you'll know that this works." The grey headed boy bows his head, his large framed glasses falling down the bridge of his nose slightly.
Jin clears his throat, glancing at Eunmi for help. "What he means is that Namjoon will obviously retaliate back so it's a good sign." The girl wasn't sure if she was making things worse or better, especially when she hears Taehyung's sigh. "But what if he doesn't do anything? What if all this is just me being one sided on my feelings?"
"You'll never know unless you try." Jin finally states, giving Taehyung a sad yet knowing smile.
Taehyung exhales while his feet patter against the ground. He wasn't sure if what Jin said would work but the least he could do is try. While on route to his classroom, Taehyung catches eyes with Jungkook.
As much as he would love to run in the opposite direction and never see the boy he once loved ever again, he knew better than to do so. Running wouldn't change anything. It wouldn't change what Jungkook did and sadly, Taehyung has to accept that. He isn't going to run away from anything anymore, not Jungkook, not Namjoon, no one.
The brunette jock smirks at Taehyung, though it soon falters when he watches the boy saunter down the hall with nothing but confidence in his step. Jungkook was surprised, last week Taehyung was particularly quacking in his step. Petrified to even be seen by him. Yet now, "Jungkook oppa?!" A girl with electric blue hair and is dressed in the latest trends taps the boy's shoulder to gain his attention. Jungkook snaps his orbs away from Taehyung to look at one of the many fangirls of the young sophomore. "What are you looking at?" The girl questions with a pout, glancing around the busy hallway to see where the boy had been looking.
Jungkook blinks before turning his gaze back to where he had last seen Taehyung. Though now, the ash haired male was long gone. Out of sight. A sigh parts from the brunette's lips as he shakes his head lightly and places on that fake smile that causes girls to swoon. "Nothing. Nothing at all."

Taehyung was beginning to panic now, not only has he not seen Namjoon all day but he hadn't caught sight of Hoseok yet either.
Worried more about his friend's wellbeing, the young junior decides to finally text his friend to see where he might possibly be. While waiting for a reply, Taehyung decides to hide out in the library for lunch. He never wanted to step foot inside the cafeteria ever again if he can help it.
