Taehyung didn't get a wink of sleep that night. How could he when all he could think about was that kiss. How perfect Namjoon's lips were against his own. How his heart hammered inside his chest at their closeness. Everything felt just like a dream, something that seems like only a fragment of his imagination.

The young grey haired boy stares up at his ceiling, his mind recalling every detail from before. How his life has changed so much over the past month. 'Could this be the start of something new?'

Yawning quietly, Taehyung shuffles down the busy hallway with tiredness in his orbs. He rubs at his eyes, attempting to get rid of the fatigue that was in them.

While walking down the corridor, his gaze catches sight of some students from the school committee as they place up a huge banner. Taehyung tries to read the large, bold letters but instead gets a fright by someone surprising him from behind.

"Taebear!" The voice chimes, instantly causing Taehyung to realise who it is. "Hobi!" He grins back. "What are we looking at?" Hoseok questions while laying his chin on Taehyung's shoulder, trying to figure out where the younger was looking.

Taehyung points towards the now up banner that hung across the hallway. "I almost forgot that the soccer match was soon." Hoseok grumbles, remembering that Jungkook was a member of the team.

Despite this fact, Taehyung still wanted to go. It was something you just do at school. Especially since the school were playing as the away team therefore, it was more of a school trip since they usually order out a whole hotel for students to stay in.

"It'll be fun." Taehyung suggests while wiggling his eyebrows, causing Hoseok to chuckle and shove the younger slightly.

From across the hall, Jimin stood with a few of his soccer buddies. They were all hanging around one of the member's locker just having a casual chat when Jimin heard the laughter of Hoseok. He turns his attention to him, watching how he carries on with Taehyung as the pair wear happy expressions.

Jimin purses his lips, attempting to conceal his jealousy. It was a similar feeling he had when he saw Hoseok and Yoongi together yesterday.

"But what about...you know?" Hoseok questions, referring to Jungkook as both himself and Taehyung waltz down the hallway, towards their first class. "It's fine." Taehyung smiles though it was weak. "You sure?" But the younger of the two just nods, spotting his class.

"I'll see you later." He announces to Hoseok before scurrying off to class. Once inside the room, he drops his head onto his desk with a sigh. Today was going to be a very long day.

Lunchtime rolls by quickly as Taehyung had yet to see Namjoon. He felt like he deserved some form of an explanation behind the kiss. Though he remembered that Namjoon still has a girlfriend. 'Did I help him cheat?!' The younger frantically panicked, realising how bad this was.

While on his way to the cafeteria, Taehyung's gaze meets with someone he didn't particularly want to see. There Jungkook was, surrounded by girls who were basically groping him in plain sight. It still hurt the older to see the sophomore, especially when he smirks at Taehyung triumphantly.

With the sudden loss of apatite in his stomach, Taehyung turns and marches his way to his safe place; the staircase.

He hadn't really been there in a while since he was so caught up with the brunette prior but now he felt the need to release some of his pain in private.

The door creaks open before it slams back into its original position. Taehyung immediately starts to hyperventilate, his orbs glossing over at the hurting memories that Jungkook created.

It just so happened that Namjoon was also there, lying on the second flight of stairs as he attempts to control his chaotic mind. The scene was like déjà vu to the pair, like they were meeting one another again. The older gets to his feet, hearing Taehyung's panting as he reaches the top of the stairs where the younger stood with his hand over his lips.

The sound of footsteps frightens Taehyung as he gazes up to meet Namjoon's coffee coloured orbs. A sense of shock enters the younger's heart as it pounds against his chest. Slowly, he removes his hand from his lips. His eyes scan Namjoon's, trying to figure out what the elder's current mood was.

Namjoon stared for a second longer than he should've before turning a cheek and looking away from the younger. The gesture formed a crack to grow in Taehyung's heart.

The lilic haired boy gulps, knowing fine well about what he did to Taehyung yesterday was a mistake. It was in the heat of the moment that he kissed him. After all, he was already in a relationship...but was he really happy with Ji-won? Or was he simply just telling himself that so he can deny the developing feelings he has for the junior?

"Listen Taehyung," he whispers quietly. It seemed almost impossible to breathe, like the words he was trying to get out weren't cooperating with his lips. Taehyung already knew where this was going as he felt yet again, rejection.

He dips his head down, removing his gaze from the older to contain his breaking heart. Taehyung looks back up at the older with a wide smile, causing Namjoon to flinch slightly. "It's okay hyung!" He cheers, "I know it was a mistake. Don't worry, I wouldn't tell anyone and I'll just forget about it." He explains, stretching his lips as wide as they could possibly go so that the tears wouldn't fall.

Namjoon observes Taehyung, a guilty feeling settling in his stomach as he slowly reaches out to the younger. But Taehyung moves away from his touch, "we should probably stop meeting now since the plan didn't work." Taehyung admits before bowing to his hyung. "Thank you for putting up with me and helping me." He smiles up at Namjoon again who simply just stood there with shocked eyes.

"Goodbye hyung." The grey haired boy whispers while he enters back into the school through the door, leaving Namjoon to stand there, alone in the cold air.

Taehyung slowly slides his back against the door, his legs weaken as he finds himself against the ground. Thankfully, the corridor was completely empty due to the fact that it was a less used hallway and that everyone else would be in the cafeteria.

Soft sobs leave Taehyung's lips as his shoulders shake unbearably. 'Am I just too attach to people? Do I just fall too fast?' He wonders to himself while hugging his knees close to his chest.

On the other side of the door, Namjoon sat in a similar position. Like Taehyung, his back was placed against the door with his legs spread out in front of him. He listens as he hears the junior's cries. It hurts Namjoon but he knew it was for the best. He knew that Taehyung needed time to heal and meet someone who will love him.

Namjoon leans his head back against the door as he looks up at the frosty sky. A single tear rolls down his cheek while he continues to listen to the younger's heart breaking.

"I'm sorry Taehyung." He whispers, a foggy cloud escaping his lips. "I really am sorry..."
