CHAPTER 15

(Normal POV)

Sarah and Jimmy were at Nazz's house. The day before, Nazz had come to Sarah asking her for help.

"Guys... What am I gonna do? How do I respond to this?" Nazz sounded desperate. Sarah looked down at the paper Nazz had brought her. It was from Kevin.

Sarah scratched the back of her head in thought.

{Dear Nazz,

You haven't answered to my question, so I wrote you this poem. Hope you enjoy.

That was written on the front of an envelope. Inside the envelope, was the poem.

{You eyes are as blue as the ocean. Your eyes are as bright as the sun. You and I are meant to be one. One whole. One heart. One love.}

It was by far the worst poem Sarah had ever seen. Although, she was very much into poetry. So her expectations were very high. She sighed as she moved the paper to Jimmy for him to read. "Well, what do you want to do?" She asked her. Nazz put her head in her hands.

"I don't know! I mean, I want to give Kev a chance, but at the same time, I like E-........ Ed... Yeah, Ed!" She tried to cover up. Sarah sighed. "You realize it's obvious, right?" Jimmy asked her. Nazz played dumb. "What is?" She tilted her head in fake curiosity. "Your major crush on Eddy. Like, dude. We all see the way you look at him." Jimmy said. Nazz deflated. "....you do?" They nodded.

Nazz sighed. "I can't help it! He's like, everything I want in a guy..." Sarah thought for a moment. "You need to get over him... Somehow..." Nazz scoffed. "And how exactly do you get over the perfect guy?" Sarah grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. "Here. List everything you like about Eddy." Five minutes of thinking and writing later, Nazz handed the paper back to Sarah.

His piercings
His hair
His heart shaped face
His arms
His taste in music
His sense of humor
How good he got in school
His skin tone
His enthusiasm}

Sarah looked at the paper with worry. This will take longer than she thought... "Oookay... Now... Write everything you don't like about him." She gave Nazz another piece of paper and the pen. Ten minutes later. Sarah looked at the paper again.

{How he yells at people when he's mad.
His attitude when he's mad
How cute he looks when he pouts...}

"... That's it?" Jimmy asked her. "I can't think of anything! Ugh, why can't this be Kevin? It would be so much easier to deal with." Nazz put her head down on the table. Sarah snapped her fingers. "I have an idea!" She pulled them in close and whispered a plan.

~Peach Creek Hospital~
(Eddys POV)

I was sitting in the waiting room listening to Beaten In Lips by Beartooth. I was waiting for my dad to get out of the hospital. Damien called me in sick from school and everyone else left. I had fallen asleep with the song on repeat and I woke up to a nurse shaking my shoulder. "Are you Eddy McGee?" I hated my name... "Yeah..." The nurse stood normally. "Your father is awake and wants to see you." I stood and my legs were on autopilot. Walking to his room.

I got into his room and he seemed like he was waiting for me. His black hair was messy and all over the place. He had tubes in his nose and was in a hospital gown, covered by the thin blanket. "Eddy. My son."

That's it or now. I need to go babysit so this is just a quick chapter, I'll have one up later today.
