CHAPTER 28 (Part 2)

*WARNING: MAJOR SAPPINESS INBOUND*

"What's the matter Eddy? Can't speak to your own mother?"

Eddy clenched his fists with anger as he stared at his mother and ex girlfriend. Both of whom smiled brightly at him. Callie kept giving him flirty looks and kept moving closer to him.

Callie walked over to him and grabbed his arm in a begging mannor and shook him lightly. Nazz finally clicked two and two together in her head.

"I'm sorry I snapped like that Nazz, it's just, that was something my ex girlfriend used to do. We had a nasty breakup and it brings back memories I'd rather not relive."

Oh my god. That was what he told her when she had shook him, demanding to know what California was like. This was the ex girlfriend that Eddy talked about. Nazz cringed at how awkward the situation was. It must be weird to have your mom an ex girlfriend show up out of nowhere.

Eddy suddenly snapped and pushed her off gently, yet enough to get the point across that he didn't want to be touched. Not by her, anyway. "Don't touch me! I'm still mad at you!" He backed away. Callie looked at him, stunned. Karren walked up to the two. She tried to talk to Eddy but he backed away. "You too! I don't want to see either of you!" Eddy stormed back to his house and slammed the door. There were whispers and giggles all throughout the crowd.

Skye had had enough. She was not about to let those two ruin everything she had worked so hard for. She fought tooth and nail to get Eddy out of his depression, she was not about to let these two show up and put him right back in the same damn place. Not this time.

"Skye? Bae is that you?" Skye growled at the nickname Callie had insisted on giving her. "Don't. Call me that." She said with venom dripping from her words. Callie giggled. Skye got in her face. "I want you to know something. If you two do anything, anything, that puts Eddy back in the hole that he dug himself again, I. Will. End you. Mother or not, I don't care." Skye began to walk away, but then she heard something that made her stop dead in her tracks.

"Whatever. The little emo boy deserves it."

Skye whipped around and flung herself at Callie, who looked on in panic. "You are such a bitch! Eddy did nothing wrong! In case you forgot, you're the dumb whore who can't keep to one guy. You're the little slutbag that needs a hundred boyfriends when you have one great, perfect, amazing guy. You don't deserve anyone like Eddy. He is too good for you. He deserves someone better. Why don't you just go home? We would all be better off without you!"

Callie looked at her with shock and hurt. "Oh yeah? Well, at least I'm rich! I don't need anyone!" Skye scoffed. "Okay, whatever. Keep thinking your better than everyone else. See how far that gets you in life." Skye stormed back to the house, with the group of friends in tow.

They got inside and saw Eddy angrily playing a game on his phone. "Uh, dude? What are you doing?" It was Nazz. "I don't know, nor do I care." He retaliated. He grumbled an apology after a moment and banged his head down on the counter. "God fucking dammit! I thought I was done with her! Why can't she stay the fuck out of my life?!" Eddy practically screamed in a fit of rage. Kevin took a bold step and sat down next to Eddy. "What... What happened between you two, man?"

Eddy sighed heavily. "You really want to know?" Everyone nodded eagerly. "All right. You asked for it."

~Flashback~

Eddy sighed happily as him and Callie broke apart from their kiss. He smiled at her as she untangled he hands from his shirt. She still kept her hands there though. "I love you." Eddy smiled even wider. "I love you too." He kissed her again, savoring every moment their lips were together. She giggled and playfully pushed him away. "I gotta go." He shook her head. "One more goodbye kiss?" She laughed lightly. "We've been saying goodbye for five minutes." He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her once more in a hug. He finally let her go and backed away a couple steps.
