CHAPTER 28 (Part 1)

Eddy grumbled as he scrubbed paint off of his arms in the shower. Not just off his arms, really. Off of practically everywhere... He sighed and watch the rainbow of colors go down the drain. He scrubbed his hair to see if he got out all the paint, and sure enough, more colors flooded down his arms. He placed the now colorful bar of soap on a ledge next to him and picked up a bottle of body wash from the ground. He grabbed a washcoth and lathered it in soap and continued to try and get the paint off of him. Once he got one arm relitiveley clean, the washcloth was ruined.

"Argh! What kind of paint did they use? I thought they said it was just accrilic." Eddy thought aloud. He turned the water as high as it would go and continued to scrub. He thought back to what happened earlier that day...

~FLASHBACK~

Skye shivered as she grabbed Eddys sweatshirt, which happened to be the only one she could find, and put it on. She was thankful he bought this Underarmour hoodie, because those were warm. She rubbed her hands together to generate some heat and blew on them. "Cold?" Eddy asked as he walked up to her. "Just a lot a bit." She said, giving a half-smile. She sat down on the couch and Eddy sat next to her. They sat there watching cartoons and making small talk. The silences in-between was never awkward, rather comforting. They were both used to the silence. They had begun watching an episode of South Park. It happened to be the one where Wendy had a crush on Cartman. Skye thought of what Nazz told her yesterday. She shook her head of the thought and clicked the channel to 'Ridiculousness'. They each began to laugh at how the people got hurt.

As they were starting to enjoy the show, there was a knock at Eddy's door. Eddy stood up to answer it, but Skye stopped him. "Yeah?" He asked, confused. "Dude. Go put on a shirt before you answer the door." Eddy looked down at his shirtless chest. He smirked as he choked down his response. He grabbed a shirt out of the clean basket of laundry, which just so happened to be in the living room, and three it on.

Eddy made his way over to the door and opened it as the person was about to knock again. It was Nazz. "Hi Eddy! Um, there's someone asking for you..." "Okay, I'll be right out, let me just go change into actual clothes." He walked to his room and shut the door. Nazz came in and shut the front door. She sat on the couch next to Skye. "Hi Skye." She waved at Nazz and sat back.

Eddy came out of his room with all of his piercings in and a band shirt. He looked like the classic rocker kid. Minus the tattoos. They walked outside and saw everyone huddling around what looked like two girls. Eddy got to the group and began pushing through. There were a lot of guys in the crowd, seemingly looking over one of the girls.

Eddy got to the front of the crowd. His throat went dry, he couldn't talk, his ears were ringing, he was shaky, he was just plain shocked. There were two girls. One looked to be in her mid forties. She had a crisp white shirt covered in a suit jacket. She had a matching skirt that looked like she had spent hours ironing it. Her curly blonde hair emphasized her face, which was done up in makeup. Not too much, but enough for a woman her age. Her lips were a bright red. The other girl was much much younger. She looked to be Eddy's age. She had a bright pink shirt that showed off an unbelievable amount of cleavage. She had a tank top underneath the shirt at a fake attempt to cover it up. She had skinny jeans that looked like they were three sizes too tight. Her bright red hair that went down to her mid back framed her delicate face perfectly. Her lips were a soft pink color, her makeup done in the perfect cateyes style that further brought out her blueish green eyes. She had a silver nose ring and bright blue gauges in her ears. She was beautiful to everyone. Everyone, that is, except Eddy.

When the girls saw Eddy freeze, the older one smiled and spoke. "What's the matter Eddy? Can't speak to your own mother?"
