CHAPTER 26

(Skye)

Skye woke up and streched from her position. Her legs were streched off the air mattress. She moved her legs over to her side and glanced over at the spot where Talen used to lay. She sighed. She had thought they had something good going... But then he overreacted and then took desperate measures... 'It's not my fault he was crazy.'

'But you should have seen how he was. You knew he was a perv. You let it happen.'

'No I didn't! Shut up! Stupid brain...'

Skye sat up and looked at Eddy's sleeping form. He was snoring lightly. She sighed, got dressed, and walked out of his room. She went into the living room and was greeted by Damien. "When Eddy wakes up, tell him I'm with Nazz." She began to walk out when she felt someone eyeing her. She turned and saw Damien watching her with a blank look. "What?" She snapped.

He shook his head and snapped out of his daze and confused state. "Uh, yeah. Okay. Whatever." I rolled my eyes. He seriously needed help...

I stepped out into the frigid March air. I walked down the road a few houses and got to Nazz's home. She was waiting outside with a heavy winter coat she was practically drowning in. I walked up and smiled. "Hey. Ready to go?" She nodded quickly and we began to walk to her car. How one girl can have that much pink I'll never know.

We were halfway to the mall when she clicked on her radio. It began to blast a pop song.

If you want it take it I should have said it before. Tried to hide it, fake it, I can't pretend anymore.

Skye looked at Nazz like she was crazy. I reached over and clicked the radio off. "Hey! I was listening to that!" Nazz screeched. "I am not listening to some pop song." Nazz scoffed. "Well what do you think we should listen to, punk princess?" Nazz had a very snotty tone to her voice. Skye, ignoring the nickname, smirked. "I'm glad you asked. She hooked up the radio (using an AUX cord) to her phone and scrolled through her music.

Keep your hopes up high and your head down low!

A Day To Remember blasted through the speakers. Skye was head banging and Nazz was laughing at how ridiculous she looked. Skye was laughing too, because she knew she looked stupid.

They got to the mall and they got out of the car. They began to walk in to the mall. It was only 10 o' clock, so it wasn't very busy. They began shopping around and before long it was noon.

They went to the food court and each got food. Skye got a Doritos Locos Taco from TacoBell. Nazz got a blue cheese salad from a vegetarian place. Skye was tearing into her taco and was just about to finish her second one. She looked up and saw Nazz watching her. "What?" Nazz sighed.

"You know, sometimes I wish I was like you. Smart. Funny. Talented. Strong. Then guys would like me." Skye laughed. "Are you kidding? They don't even notice me. They're all giving you the goo goo eyes." She put down her taco. "Listen, Nazz. You are a very pretty girl. There are, and will always be, those idiotic guys who want to take advantage of you and just want you to have sex with them. They look for girls who's tits are practically exploding out of her shirt, ass hanging out of her jeans, skinny as a twig, and good looks. That's what they want." Nazz thought about what Sarah told her with her crush on Eddy. "But." She emphasized. "There will be that one guy. That knight in shining armor. He sweeps you off your feet and carries you away." Nazz daydreamed Eddy and Kevin fighting in knights armor, and giggled.

"But you need to be careful. It could seem like that, but be the exact opposite. You could fall in love with him, and he would just rip the rug right out from beneath you. It sucks. And it hurts." Skye's voice cracked. "I know that feeling personally. And I don't want it happening to you. So I want to tell you to be careful. Be cautious. If your looks are the first thing he likes about you, it's a guy you don't want anything to do with." Skye warned.

"But how will I know if it's the real thing or not?" Nazz asked. "You won't. Or, at least, I think you won't. I didn't see the whole thing with Talen coming. I fell hard for him, and look what happened." Nazz instantly became afraid. She had thought they were perfect together. But... She was wrong...

"Skye..." Skye held up a hand. "No. I'm having a good day and I don't want to ruin it." Nazz smiled.

~Flashback~

"This is gonna be harder than I thought..." Sarah said. She sighed and sat down. "We need to get you to stop thinking about Eddy like that." Sarah said thoughtfully. Jimmy nodded and grabbed a notebook and pencil. "For notes. This is when she comes up with her best ideas." Jimmy explained to Nazz, who was looking at him questioningly.

"I've got it!" Sarah exclaimed suddenly. "Jimmy, remember that episode of South Park where Wendy liked Cartman? That's what we need to do!" Jimmy smiled. "You want Nazz to do that?" Nazz became afraid. What were they talking about?

"We dont have any other choice. Nazz," Sarah turned to her. "We have an idea of how to get rid of this 'I Love Eddy' speil." Nazz's eyes widened. "I don't love him!" Sarah scoffed. "He just has the cutest brown eyes! He's everything I look for in a guy!" She mocked. Nazz opened her mouth for an argument, but closed it right away, causing Jimmy and Sarah to laugh.

Sarah led Nazz away, explaining the plan, while Jimmy followed close behind. Little did they know, Kevin was behind a bush, eavesdropping on their conversation. "Hmmm..." Kevin ran away to his house and got his bike. He hopped on and skidded off. He had some work to do...

~Flashback End~

Nazz giggled as she told Skye what she needed to do. "So, I want your premission. And to ask you a question. Are you and Eddy, you know, together? And or is he with anyone else?" Skye almost choked. "No! Me and Eddy are not together! Ew! I love him like a brother and all, but never like that!" Nazz sighed in relief. "Okay. Then this might not be so horribly akward." Skye shook her head. "I think it's stupid, but if you really tried everything, then I guess it doesnt matter. I still can't believe you thought we were dating. And worse, you asked for premission to-" Nazz slapped a hand over her mouth. "SHH! I don't want the whole world to know!" She snapped. Skye laughed. She licked Nazz's hands and Nazz screeched and yanked it off instantly. "Did you just lick my hand?!" Skye smiled. "Yep." Nazz rolled her eyes and wiped her hand on her pants. "You're revolting." Skye laughed. "I try."

OMFG I HAVE NOT UPDATED IN FUCKEN FOREVER!!!!!!!

I AM SO SORRY! I HAVE SO MUCH SCHOOL SHIT!!!!!!!!

But enough with the excuses, I have a new chapter, I'm re-reading my story so I don't do duplicates, and I should have one out within a week (I get a lot of homework in chemistry, and I'm awful at chemistry... Stupid Junior classes homework...)

That and when I can type this in study hall, my teacher watches me like a hawk.

But I put a picture of what I think Skye looks like. Not my picture, found it on google.

And, as much as I hate to say it, I think I need to end this thing soon. What I mean is, end changes, make a sequel, you know, the usual. I think Im gonna stop at chapter 40?

Okay. Imma go back to my school work now:)
