(Eddys POV)

Damien, Skye, Talen, and I were I the car driving to the hospital. I was bored, so I was scrolling through my pictures. It was mainly because I needed to clear some stuff so I could have some storage. And I had 2000+ pictures.... I scrolled through some pictures and deleted a few here and there. I got to a picture of when I was in California. It was of me an Callie. It was when we first met....

~flashback~

As I walked into school, I realized Talen and Skye weren't here. I got my stuff from my locker and walked to class. I didn't really have any reason to stay there because Talen and Skye weren't here. I saw the popular girls crowding a girl near the door. I felt kind of bad for her... Oh well... No use causing drama that could be avoided, right?

I sat down in my desk and put my head on my desk. Man, I was tired. Damien an I had been up all night fighting... That is until mom had enough and threatened to have us sleep outside if we didn't shut up... So we came to a compromise. When our teacher, our class calls him Elliott (his first name), started babbling on about some random chemistry junk a new girl walked in.

She had firey red hair that was down to her shoulders. She had her head tilted down in a way that hinted she was shy. Either that or she was just plain embarrassed. She had a light pink shirt but it was very loose and see-through, so you could see the black tank top she had underneath the shirt. She had bright blue jeans in and black flats. Ballet flats... I think... He had bright green eyes and a pretty smile. Elliott welcomed her and told her to sit next to me. My stomach jumped into my throat and I played it off like I was drawing. Which, that wasn't technically a lie... It's just... I didn't start until she started walking my way..... That's all....

She sat next to me and gave me a bright smile. "Hiya! My name is Callie! I just moved here from Dallas!" I assumed she meant in Texas, because she had a slight southern drawl. Is that a thing? I don't know. Either way. I smiled slightly at her. "My names Eddy." I didn't think I had to tell her I moved here like two years ago... Did I? Oh well. Too late now I guess. Elliott told us to stop talking, and we turned to face the front. A couple of girls were snickering at us. Whatever. Fucking bitches......

After class, as I helped Callie find her way around, I learned a lot about her and where she came from. Her favorite color was green. Her favorite type of music is country, which I was a bit disappointed by but oh well no big deal she can like what she wants to like. Her favorite food is pepperoni pizza. She has two sisters, both of which are "assholes and mess with me all the time."... Her words not mine. Her favorite song is House of The Rising Sun by Five Finger Death Punch, even though she listens to a lot of country. I also learned that her family was very God-fearing. As was most of their town in Texas. Her family went to church every Sunday and junk. I don't know... My mom only had us go on holidays like Easter and Christmas and stuff.... She was a B average student, as was I... With the exception if a couple Cs here and there...

We got to lunch and sat down at a table. "Is... Is it ways just you?" I shook my head. "My friends are sick today. Or, at least they're not here." I said once I swallowed my mouth full of food. She sighed in relief. "Ok, good... I was worried... What if you were gone one day then I would s be all alone..." I shook my head. "Nah, your good. That won't happen. Probably."

After lunch, and the rest I the day, I was about to start my walk home hen Callie came up to me. "Hey. Where are you going?" I turned to look at her. "I'm walking home." She nodded and paused. I smiled. "Do, you want me to walk you home?" She smiled and nodded. We began to walk and talk and took a small pit-stop to an ice cream shop. Because I wanted some damn ice cream... After about 10 minutes, we got to her house. She stopped at her driveway and turned to me. "Thanks." I tilted my head in confusion. "For what?" She smiled. "For walking me home. For the ice cream. For showing me around today..." She trailed off. I shrugged. "Don't thank me. It wasn't a big deal. But I gotta get home, so ill see you tomorrow?" She smiled brightly an nodded. "Okay! See you tomorrow!" She began to walk down her driveway and I started to walk away toward my own house.
