Entering my classroom on Thursday morning, I know I will have to have a word with Amy. What if another student would see the things she does? What about my job and reputation?
I already assigned them their work, and I'm going through their papers to return. I reach Amy's paper and see the image. I glance at her, only to realise that she is also looking at me. All other students seem to be busy with their work. I mouth to her that I want to see her after classes. She smiles and nods. Her smile is so beautiful. I don't really go for studs, but there is just something about Amy. She is different.
Evening rolls around, and Amy is at my classroom as the last set of students are leaving. I stand at the door to let them out, and she walks in the same time. After the last student leaves, I lock the door and turn to greet Amy. I turn right into her. She almost knocks me off my feet. She catches me by my waist, and I feel a tremor move through my body. She doesn't say anything, so I try to regain my composure and move. She holds onto me, and I don't fight her. I just look in her eyes as she looks in mine. She pushes me back against the door, and her lips brush against mine.
"What are you doing to me, Alyssa? I can't get you off of my mind."
I close my eyes. I'm trying my hardest to be strong. There is no denying that she has an effect on me. My body gets so easily excited around her. I feel her lips ever so tender against mine, and I can't resist. I feel electricity in my body at her touch. I let her kiss me. I return her kiss for a split second. I can feel her body now flush against mine. She pulls back a little, her forehead resting on mine. Both of our breathings are uneven. She cups my cheek and is about to kiss me again when there is a knock at the door. I jump. We are just behind the door. What if someone had opened the door?
Amy leaps to a seat with her paper, pretending to do some work. I open the door... Rhonda. She looks directly at Amy. She gives me a look and then hands me her assignment, which is late.
"Can you go over this with me, Ms. Wade? Or are you busy?"
I know she is intentionally asking for help she doesn't even need. Just then, Amy gets up and hands me her paper again.
"Thanks, Ms. Wade," she says.
Amy leaves the room, and I invite Rhonda in. My heart is still racing, but as I sit with Rhonda, I slowly regain my composure.
All the time I'm with Rhonda, I keep remembering what her lips felt like, what they tasted like. My body tingles just thinking of it. I try to push her to the back of my mind. I need to.
