I go straight to the shower as I walk through my door. I need one. I need to wash away Amy from my body. A cold shower will help calm me down.

As I get out of the shower, I reach for my phone to return Sasha's call. She picks up almost immediately.

"What made you leave so suddenly?"

I am speechless. I don't know how to answer.

"Uhm..I - I had to be somewhere. Nothing important."

Sasha giggles in my ear.

"You can't lie to save your life. Now, I'll ask again. What made you leave?"

I can't help but laugh.

"Sasha, it's not important. Really."

"OMG! Lyss, it was someone, wasn't it?"

I go completely silent, and I hear Sasha laughing.

"No wonder you sending that chick crazy. You giving away the cookie to someone else."

"It's not like that, Sasha. I- I, I feel like I'm caught in a web, actually."

At this moment, I just need my friend. It has been weighing heavily on my mind. I know I care for Amy, but our situation is so complicated. I want to stop it, but I'm not sure how to.

"Tell me about it, Lyss. I'm here."

"It's a student."

Sasha goes mute for a while.

"I know it is wrong, Sasha, but I care about her. I don't know what to do. I want to stop it, but she makes it so very hard for me."

For the first time, I break down in tears.

"Hey, hey, it's ok, Lyss. What year is she in?"

I go on to inform her about Amy. I tell her everything. Sasha's advice to me is to be careful. She is a hopeless romantic, so she doesn't tell me to cut ties with her. She says I should be careful, and seeing as how Amy is in her final year, maybe we can keep it a secret until she is done.
At that time, it sounded good, but as I'm getting dressed to go pick up Amy, I'm asking myself if I can wait an entire school year to have her. It's obvious that I want her as much as she wants me. Will I be able to stop her when it goes too far? Can I even trust myself around her? If I take it there with her, will it not show at school? Suddenly, it becomes so difficult again.

I hop in my car and drive to Amy. Amy pops out the door as soon as I get there. As she walks to the car, I can't help but stare at her. She is breathtaking. She has her hair down. She is wearing nude skinny jeans, a dark blue T-shirt, and a pair of white hi-tops. Having her tattoos out like this looks so bad-ass on her. I'm not even a huge fan of tattoos, but on her, it is something to look at.

She slides in the passenger seat and leans in to kiss my lips. It feels so natural. It's so good to be kissed by her. If only she had been a co-worker.

"Have you ever been roller skating?"

I look at her like she is not talking to me.

She grins.

"Good! That means we'll have fun."

She is crazy, but I find that I love her spontaneity. She gives direction to which rink she wants to go, and she chooses the farthest one. Sensible.

We get there, and we rent the skates. I fumble even putting them on. She quickly bends and put them on for me. I wait for her to do the same for herself.
She just glides off the bench with her hand outstretched to me. I take her hand, but I simply can't make it to my feet. Laughing the way I am makes it no easier. We are both laughing, and finally, I stand.

She doesn't let go of my hand, and I don't want her to. She gives me all instructions on how to maneuver my feet. I stumble a few times, but she is right there to catch me up. Each time she would hold me by the waist to regain balance, I feel butterflies.

We have been going at it for about 30 minutes when she suggests we take a seat. I almost land on my face, trying to sit. I must say, I haven't laughed quite like this in a long time. I have never done something like this, but I can see myself doing it again.

We exit the rink, and instead of walking to my car, she takes my hand and leads me in the direction of the nearby beach. It's night, so there are only two other couples aside from us, at least that I can see.

The moonlight is beautiful out here. She walks behind me and hugs on me, walking slowly like this. Resting her chin on my shoulder and wrapping her arms around my torso.

"Be mine. Be my girl," she says so softly.

I am shocked at what she is saying. I stop, and she turns me around. I can't tell her yes, and I definitely don't want to tell her no. I do the only thing I can. I cup her face and guide her lips to mine. We kiss tenderly. I can feel her sincerity, and I'm sure she feels mine. Her hands go down to my ass, and she squeezes, gently pulling me closer to her. I break the kiss and rest my forehead against hers, enjoying our moment.

"Let me take you home."

I take her hand in mine, and we walk back to my car.
