"Love, what time are you getting home?" Rachel shouted down the stairs to Mike, who was eating breakfast, getting ready to go into work. Rachel was still in her pyjamas, she was taking the day. This was an unusual occurrence, and she had been somewhat reluctant, but Mike had stressed that she needed to cut the work load slowly and pace herself working up to the third trimester.

Mike wandered towards the stairs and found Rachel, leaning on the banister at the top. "I will be getting home at eight-thirty, Oliver is in town and he wants to work on one of our cases. Maybe I can convert him into a Class Action kinda guy!" Rachel looked down at him and rolled her eyes whilst smiling.

"Oh, good, say hi to him for me! Maybe he can come around for dinner while he's here?" She suggested, raising her eyebrows at him redolently.

"Hmm, that's a good idea, I'll ask him. Right, you are going to go back to the bedroom and watch some Netflix, and then you can just take it easy. No work though." Mike warned her, and she turned back to get to their room. "Have a good day babe, I love you."

"Love you too!" She shouted behind, her feet colliding with the cold, wooden floor. She slipped back under the duvet and heard the front door slam shut. The Netflix logo appeared on the TV at the click of a button, and she turned the third episode of The Crown on. As the titles rolled, she glanced at her phone, and pulled the charging cable out to bring it closer to her. There was a text from the one and only. Donna.

Hey Rach, just wondering how you're doing, and according to my calculations, you know what the gender is. So, which is it?! Xx

Rachel opened up her phone and smiled as she composed her text.

Hi Donna! Wow, you're good, yes, we do know, but I think I want to wait to tell you that, on FaceTime or something? We need a catch-up. Plus, if you're as good as you say you are, you'll be able to work it out. x

Um, excuse me, that's not fair! I need to know! We need to meet up.

Rachel felt slightly upset that she couldn't go straight to Donna's cubicle and tell her it was a go ahead pink. Hayley was good company, and she got excited when Rachel did, but she wasn't Donna.

We do, I saw that ZSL won a huge case, congrats, Chief Operating Officer.

Rachel had read up on how the firm was doing, and won yet another case with Cameron Dennis. She couldn't help but realise that Harvey must've made it personal, which meant Donna helped him win.

Whilst in thought about her paralegal days at the then Pearson Hardman, someone knocked, pretty intensely on the door. She sighed, pulling herself off the comfortable mattress, pausing the TV. Rachel bounced down the stairs, her bare feet hit the cold, laminated wood again and she made her way to the front door. Without thinking she opened the door, and what was stood there took her breath away slightly, which was already pretty much gone from walking down the stairs.

"Hey stranger." The red-head beamed at her friend who drew her hand to her mouth and muttered some maledictory words.

"Donna, ohmygosh, what are you doing here?" They pulled each other into a hug and proceeded into the house.

"I got given a few days off by your father, I've been helping him with his cases, and he told me to come and visit you. I went to the office, and met a girl about your age, your height. Hayley I think her name was. She told me that you were taking the day to rest, and I got a bit confused. I've never known you to take a day if it wasn't important. So, I spoke to Mike as he was arriving, and he told me you were cutting down. I've never been happier for you." Donna explained as Rachel dragged her into the living room and sat her down.

"Donna, I'm so glad you're here! I can tell you everything!" Rachel placed her hand on Donna's wrist and let go, flunking on the sofa, looking to the ceiling. "I'm sixteen weeks, and god my back is killing me. They also never tell you that it hurts your pelvic bone. Well, it does. Oh my god it does, I couldn't move the other day. But, it turns out that's normal."

"Rachel, it's okay. Now, tell me... Is it a little dude, or a little... um... dudina."

"Nice, you put it so well?! Dudina." Donna's eyes widened as the news broke, and she screamed slightly.

"Yessss!" Rachel looked at her, perplexed at why she was so ecstatic.

"What?? We were happy, but you, why are you so happy?"

"Because I bet with Harvey. He just lost his bottle of scotch."

"Oh, okay! How are things in that department? You never told me what happened after you took him home that night?" Rachel leaned in, ready to hear the story, waiting impatiently to receive the details.

"Well, we went into his apartment for a while, and he sobered up. I stayed so I knew he was sober when I left. Then I went home!" Donna had a wicked smile on her face.

"Heyyy, that's not it. Something happened didn't it. And plus, you don't work for him anymore."

"Rachel, his name is on the wall, I do still technically work for him. Yes, something happened."

'Andd, what was it." She was on the edge of her seat, desperately prodding it out of Donna.

"Anddd, we kissed, again. I stopped it from going further when I told him we should take it slow, and ever since, we've been doing just that."

"Oh... My... God. Wait until Mike hears about this. We might've had a little bet of our own. Anyway, that's for another time, how long are you going to be here?" Rachel chuckled at the idea of their little deal they made, two years ago now.

"I'm here today, it's busy up in New York you know! He said a few days, but you know more than I do he wants me back up there as soon as possible." Rachel smiled nonchalantly and nodded.

"I know, I just wish you could stay longer. Mike is home at eight thirty, do you think you'll stay for dinner?" Rachel wiggled her eyebrows at her.

'Sure, what can that hurt. Now, tell me more about this pregnancy thing, can you feel her kick yet, ooh, and what about names, how about... Donna." Both women laughed and chatted all morning, and all afternoon.

"It's tiring, pregnancy is no joke. You get exhausted and you can't even reduce it with caffeine." They laughed.

"Ooh, I don't think I could give up coffee if I tried. Maybe I'd do it for my offspring."

"You mean you and Harvey's offspring."

"Uh, don't get ahead of yourself young lady! We're, going slow. And from what you've said, you're not selling the whole grow a child in you for nine months."

'Seriously though, I shouldn't even complain about this stuff. I am so grateful for this little girl, and Mike is amazing. I just love them both so much."

"I can tell!"
